He played well but had to leave the game late with the shoulder injury from last week flaring up. His last couple of passes looked like Bryce balls. They were completed but they had no juice.

He's a free agent next year actually. Wish we had the balls to bring him in to compete, looking around the league though he might get a legit starting offer or at least an offer to compete somewhere that he would control his own destiny.

I can't see it. He's already 31 needing over 5700 yards. He'd have to average over 1100 yards a season over the next 5 years taking him to 36 years old. He'd need almost 950 a season if you took him to 37. Emmitt Smith retired at 35. He needs more rushing yards post-31 years old than Cam Newton had in his entire career.

Frank Gore played until he was 37. So if Henry played another six seasons, he would need to average 910.5 yards to surpass Emmitt Smith. I think it would depend on what motivates Henry, but if anyone could challenge Emmitt for the all time, it will be Henry. However, it’s probably unlikely that he will surpass him. For me, it would be more likely he’d challenge and surpass Gore and/or Payton.

It's not impossible but not probable. I do think Top 5 All Time is fairly assured.

One thing to consider is that he has been far more productive this deep in his career than most RB's. If he doesn't hit the cliff and has a AP or Frank Gore-ish length of career, it is possible he takes it.

    • Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.
    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
