Dave Canales killing me with his play calling!

When you get a good defensive game plan against Bryce, there is very little you can do to counteract it. You know Darnold can hit a deep ball at any moment, can run up the middle/qb sneak etc. You have to be really creative to work around BY's lack of physical ability in this type of game

The biggest issue here is that the playoff scenario in this game should allow us to be as aggressive as possible.

A loss does nothing, no matter what the Bucs do.

A win + bucs loss is the division, and playoffs.

So DC should have mapped out an aggressive and vertical gameplan.  They are inching downfield with sh*t.  It is pathetic.

All of that's agreeable, it's just not helping us today. I'm not averse to Canales getting another shot or two, especially in light of not being able to pick his QB, but he needs an OC.

What good is a fuging OC going to do with a qb that is scared to death of throwing the ball/

Coaching! The fact a normie knows the deal and a "NFL Coach" doesn't is telling. Right?

Well, assuming that we do what we should do (Dave being a big part in that equation), we should have at least one, if not two guys that can give Bryce some motivation at the very least.

Young gives you zero room for error.

    • Enlighten me. What is the mind of a Bryce simp thinking?
    • I don't want Canales fired but he's definitely opened the door to a fair amount of skepticism and criticism for some things. As far as Rico Dowdle goes I was thrilled with how well he had been playing earlier in the season but I questioned the sustainability of it myself. And it was by no means the first time a lesser known RB came out of nowhere and put up great numbers. It's why the position is so plug and play now. And we see Chuba has came back down to Earth as well following a very productive season last year. And the elephant in the room is it took the Panthers having the highest paid OL in the league in order for both of them to put up the numbers that they did. In terms of the lack of running game all around right now it leads to not just a question of the gameplan and the playcalling but to a question of how do we establish the run anyway with such a pathetic passing game? I mean that's a basic building block of modern football. You pass to setup the run and vice versa. We need to see this offense with a QB who isn't Bryce Young or Andy Dalton.
    • Rico could have run for 100+. Rico is a volume RB.  He is a better RB today than Hubbard.  Not a Hubbard diss. And Dave has ensured Rico never gets his volume to go off ever since he was critical publicly of Dave Canales
