2024 vs 2025

Brown, the FAs, and the rookies progressing have been solid for the defense enough to get them in a better spot than last year.  Despite having scrubs at LB, it's been alright.  Progress, still lower of the NFL ladder.

The offense has more "punch", for lack of better term, but the lows have been lower than anything I've seen since Clausen.  Like, very terrible football.  Not pro level, embarrassing level offense.

Looks bad above but next year with the same roster…

Just how the cap hits are spread out for example…

I didn’t just use yards.  I also used points.

and I definitely didn’t do where they ranked as a comparison.  2025 features way more horrific offense at the bottom than 2024

Without really being specific, panthers  just need a QB, vet WR, LB and to resign Dowdle to be a threat. That’s not bad at all but unfortunately QB need is huge and hard to achieve. However, there will undoubtedly be a better option than Bryce available.

Getting Tepper to let go of Young is going to be a big challenge for Canales, which is silly of course since he has a lifetime of football knowledge and Tepper has zero.

Yeah canales and Bryce have both failed this offense. All the money tied up in it to be so anemic

Outside of McMillian and Dowdle they didn’t upgrade a single thing. And Dowdle sure as hell won’t be on the roster next year unfortunately

The common denominator is Bryce. They have a QB who physically cannot see the field. That’s why he’s so much better when he scrambles out of the pocket, he can see the receivers.

Imagine going into year 2 week 18 and still defending this train wreck of an offense

The Offense is awful and the Deffense is slightly better? In year 3 and 2 for the people running those units?

Personally Evero has failed with a slight improvement. Not giving a bump just because he had a historically bad unit in his 2nd year either, his guys failed hard that year so fug the free curves. He is predictable and just running a functional unit isn't good IMO. I hope someone does hire him away.

Between Bryce's and DC's limitations it's hard to see many positives on thay side. You can cut up the good while ignoring the bad but again in year 3 and 2 respectively it's just crap. Give them a participation trophy for playing it safe and not turning the ball over by not moving the ball when the run game isn't dragging the offense forward.

We hired Dave because he was a “QB Guru” and a young offensive mastermind after only one season calling plays at the pro level. Along of new coaches only get 2 seasons to prove themselves and we are wrapping up this season still not cracking top 15 in offense even though he’s completely hands off with the defense. I’ve said it 80 times since yesterday but I’ll say it again…..who here can tell me the identity of our team on offense? We WANT to be a running team but never commit. The only real identity our team has is the check down and 0-5 yard passing game. As a head coach with the division on the line to only muster up 56 passing yards, you should hold your head in shame. You can’t get more creative than that? You really can’t make more adjustments than 56 passing yards in today’s NFL??

We are a scared offense that can't actually do anything well. Dave isn't an OC. He's only a HC because everyone worth a damn was turning down interviews. Our QB needs a ladder to see the entire field. Defenses have figured out our offense. Put 8 in the box and dare Bryce and Canales to throw it. Sometimes it works. Most times it doesn't. We damn sure aren't a passing offense and you can't be a smash mouth running offense when the guy calling plays can't even figure out which RB has the hot hand. We're the prom date that looks just good enough to get asked once the lights are turned down really really low.
