And the Vikings won with a rookie UDFA QB in his second career start behind an atrocious outing by the OL in pass pro.  Next excuse.

The way the tweet reads is that it was the Vikings defense getting the fastest pressure, not the offense giving up the fastest pressure.

So you two are mad because we didn’t beat a really good Seattle team and are now looking to place blame squarely on Bryce?

Brosmer throws for 51 yards and Minnesota wins and somehow that means we should’ve won?

Detroit had 6 turnovers. Addison a 65 yard rushing TD. Detroit scored 10 points.

Some of you really struggle with big picture thinking ability when it comes to this stuff.

Did we not cause two turnovers?  Darnold looked rattled most of the game. Sam got sacked more and had one more turnover than Bryce. I agree that it is a team game and it not solely on one person. But damn man, be consistent.  It can't be where in a win Bryce is Superman and when we lose it's suddenly a team game. Yes, there's enough blame to go around yesterday, but deflecting for the QB because he's your guy is homerism at it's finest.

That was my bad for thinking he could read

Goff himself had 5 of those turnovers. 2 interceptions and 3 fumbles lost

Bryce is far from “my guy”. Ultimately I think he can be a top 7-10 QB in this league if Dan puts a proper team around him. He’s good enough that you can win with him

Ive said since forever I’d throw a late round dart at a QB almost yearly if it was up to me

If you truly believe yesterdays loss was mainly because of Bryce then there’s no point in discussing anything football related with you

I got it, but the Vikings offense was strictly in a 'don't fug it up' situation.  So if they can win playing safe when the other team knows it's a small ball/limit the mistakes offensive game plan, we surely can with a veteran offense.

Good lord you are stupid.

I don’t understand this. There is no reason to call someone stupid because they disagree with you. I also think it’s bs you are calling someone stupid when you said Herbert is overrated while thinking the sun rises and sets in Bryce young’s butt.

Crazy, he was able to get 7 passes off beyond 15 yards, one INT, one incomplete, but 4 complete.  I wonder if on his deep pick the pocket was as clean as Bryce's on his pick?

Keep up with the insults because you are mad, lol.

There is no timeline where Bryce Young will ever be a top 7-10 QB. He has virtually no physical tools and he needs elite talent and perfect conditions across the board AND the other team falling flat on their face for him to have a "career day".

There's just no valid reason to continue to afford a QB with 44 career games this many excuses. Never seen anything like it. Even the Kyle Allen mania was a brief blip on the radar. It seems like some people here will be thrilled if he is sinking our salary cap on a new contract extension and still playing the same way. Makes absolutely no sense but it's where we're at. Can't reason with that. Sheer lunacy.

    • So Willis had a good game against a poor defense and all of a sudden he is worth 50 million and is guaranteed to be better than Young. LOL I know he looked good in the 3 games he started, and I think he will have success long term, but anyone signing him up for a long term contract for 50 million is taking a huge risk.
    • Is he really though? Rivera was past his prime and probably shouldn't have even started 2019 so his firing wasn't really unexpected or unwarranted. Rhule lasted two and a half years which was about one year too long in my opinion. Bringing him back that third year certainly wasn't impulsive and I would say Tepper was more patient than he should have been. Wilks finished out that third season and did pretty good but most everyone could see he really wasn't anything more than an intern HC. Bringing him back was not the long term answer so not bringing him back was the correct call. Hiring Reich was a mistake from the beginning and he recognized that fairly quickly. I am sure he knew he was going to catch a lot of sh*t for firing him so quickly ( and boy did he ) but it was absolutely the right thing to do given everything that was going on. The firing may have looked impulsive, but I think it was him recognizing he had royally f*ck up and just dealt with it instead of letting it fester.  That brings us to Canales. 2025 was only his second season and yet he delivered 8 wins and the NFC South title. And while that might not sound great, given the lack of talent and cap space they started with, it's a strong step in the right direction. I couldn't imagine Tepper not being pleased with their progress given the crap the Panthers' have been though under his ownership.
