Hell no.  I do think if we add a legitimate QB next season we would go 15-1 though.  I think 11-13 wins is more realistic.

Waiter? I’ll have what he’s having please. ☝🏻

Oops, I meant *could go 15-1, not would.  But still maintain 11-13 wins is still realistic with a new QB.

Tellin you Montsta…. I hope Chambliss comes out in this draft and is available in the 2nd or 3rd.  Hell, we might could win 13 games with Kirk Cousins or Malik Willis next season.🤣

I mean I love the enthusiasm and I am on the ABB (anyone but Bryce) train, but 13 wins would be wild. Healthy O-line, a more polished Coker, year 2 McMillan, stepped up defense. I suppose it’s possible.

It isn’t ideal. To go 8-9 into the playoffs, get screwed on draft position while not having a team capable of truly competing with the top of the league yet.

I also hope this doesn’t blind the front office to Bryce’s short comings. I’ve convinced myself that even a modicum of a deep threat at receiver and a QB who could get them the ball would unlock the potential of this squad.

You guys got ripped off by the Refs yesterday! Congratulations on being Champs of the South! You deserve it! I’m rooting for you guys next week.

Do we though? Odd of you to come here cheesehead.

“go pack go”? More like “go back home”. I suppose every NFC team should be happy the Panthers are playing the Rams because the Rams now have to travel East, on a short week, to take on a team that they already lost to. Furthermore a team with a losing record in the playoffs has never lost in the Wild Card.

If we could somehow get the Rams again, and then get the Packers somehow back in Charlotte, we could be alright.

Packersfan has been here quite regularly and quite cordially over the past few months.

Also, I understand your point about being "screwed on draft position" because of making the playoffs.  It is somewhat valid.  But it sure doesn't seem that one draft pick solves much.  However, a mentality of "we're the best in our division" does seem to help.  For years, the Lions had both the magnificent Barry Sanders AND repeated high draft picks.  It never amounted to anything.  On the other hand, the perennial winning teams ALWAYS have "bad"draft spots but win anyway.

I think we as fans can tend to get too wrapped up in the draft positioning and lose context of what matters in the real world.  That is, of course, understandable because we get so into and excited about the draft and our new draft picks.  But developing a winning mentality seems to bring the much higher success rate.

Glad for the players. It will be great experience for the young ones especially. And it is good for the staff too. Bunch of rookies

I hate qualifying with a losing record though, NGL. It isn’t the NBA where that poo is accepted. I guess the other teams didn’t keep us out so let them worry about it.

At the same time, not discounting that we could pull off an upset.

Is anyone else confused why this guy has been in our forum since the packers game? Like, I'll take the good will I guess. Just weird to be in here rooting for us for like 2 months

    • I'm convinced Harden wants to do nothing but put up pretty shots and try to draw fouls and then do nothing on defense lol. Brunson went off though
    • Baker was traded before he played his 5th year.  RGIII was cut before playing his 5th year. So it is rare but it happens.
    • Time to hit 4000 yards and 30 TDs (including rushing). I don't care about INTs anymore. That's a big part of the problem. He plays uber conservative until the game is on the line. Playing not to lose, instead of playing to win. Time to let it friggin rip from the get. The team can win with a pick or 2 if he has 3-4 TDs. Stop playing scared.  But to be fair, his WRs have not been great. You all can bash about 1st round picks and O-line cap all you want.  Chuba as your #1 RB his entire career.  Adam Thielen as your best WR for 2 of 3 seasons is ridiculous. Then a rookie as your best in the 3rd season. Legette is not a 1st round talent. Probably closer to a 4th if you compare him to Brazzel this year. Coker has been a walking injury report. Nothing else to really speak of at WR or TE. Jimmy Horn has potential, but he is not an NFL starter yet. Oline has been better as run blockers than pass blockers. Ickey has always been so-so as a pass blocking LT. Center has been a revolving door for 3 years. Damien Lewis has been as marketed. Hunt is a great run blocker but an ok pass blocker - when healthy. Moton has been solid at RT. Biggest problem with the oline has been depth. When someone went down, their replacement became a glaring weakness. Overall a good but not great unit the last 2 years. 2023 was a ish show. Nothing else to say.  Not one game breaker, take it to the house offensive weapon since DJ Moore. Hopefully we get a little of that from Brazzell.  Either way, in his 4th season, it doesn't matter. You have to be able to overcome whatever comes your way. First 3 seasons with a young supporting cast is defendable. Can't use that anymore though. 3rd year in the offense. 3rd year with the same HC.
