2026 Team Needs

1. Sign an affordable speed WR2. Someone who can consistently stretch the field.

2. Sign a free agent pass catching tight end. How much would Kyle Pitts cost? A good TE is a quarterback’s best friend and it seems that the top teams have a reliable TE. Dave Canales needs to make TE an important position in the offense.

3. Draft an inside linebacker in round 1.

4. Sign a veteran pass rusher, possibly draft one as well.

5. Draft a safety.

6. Cut Dalton and sign a decent backup quarterback. Keep Bryce Young on his toes all offseason. Light a fire under him.

It's going to be very interesting to see where Pitts ends up next year, but I'm not sure he's worth the risk.

Sure he had a great year, but sports are littered with examples of guys who were complete busts of high picks, only to have a breakout season in their final year of their rookie deal, sign a big contract, and then go right back to being a bust.

We still have way too many holes to take a swing on paying big money to a TE who is anything but a sure thing.

I would love Malik Willis, then draft a late round guy as well maybe Chambliss. Someone at least 6'+ tall, that has an NFL arm.

I don’t think Willis would come here. He’d prefer somewhere he’ll be an immediate starter (Jets, Dolphins, Vikings).

I would also love to see Willis on this team. I would not be against taking a day 2 qb as well. I have not looked at who may be available on day 2 however but there is 1 or 2 I link may have a shot at backup at least.

Willis would definitely start here. Young and Chambliss could fight it out for the backup spot. Its a fantasy though, this org has no intention of actually putting the best players on the field or bringing in someone that threatens Young. Finding worse QBs than Young isn't an easy task. Plummer incoming. lol

    • He's handing off play calling duties to fuging Brad Idzik as well so, either that mouth breather can run the playbook and Canales can grow as an all around head coach or it will be a horrible decision and both of them and BY can screw off. I'm fine with that as long as it isn't just another excuse for BY to get another year with another coach worthy of working around his limitations as a qb.
    • Not only for Andersen but the whole team, having not beat the Habs this season before tonite.  Shows them that they aren't jinxed.
    • I understand why people say things like it could be worse in relation to Tepper but it just doesn't jive for me. Are the optics bad? Yes. Would I want her to be the owner of my team? No. But I mean she's only been owner for a year and the Colts overall are a better run organization. As far as I know they've also never had the distinction of having the worst win percentage in all of professional sports either. Tepper has owned this team for 8 years and about the only thing that has been consistent has been the ability to continue to find different ways to achieve new lows. Even now people are saying things are different yada yada but we said these same things at certain points under Rhule Fitterer and Reich. I'm going to wait to see how the rubber meets the road this upcoming season before I make any strong conclusions about anything in relation to the longevity under this franchise going forward.
