I think he just seems HC desperate. It's perplexing and it will fail.

He must have been one of those "I can fix her" type of guys.

It's not so much about his ability to be a coach. It's ownership, followed by roster, followed by general standing in the division, followed by even more ownership. They've parted ways previously with 2 coaches that got them into the playoffs.
