I don’t see Canales wanting him to go

too much for him to worry about…if he was going to do it, could’ve done it when Salah was available…not sure he would’ve wanted to come here in any case

Evero is just too passive for me

his 3rd down statistics and ranking of extending drives on 3rd, pretty damned bad

Defense did a great job this year with nobodies at LB. Would love to see how this team looks with one more solid draft. We need a FA pass rusher, a developing talent at DT(well DE in 3-4) with Brown, and hopefully a first or second round MLB.

Nobodies at pass rusher too.

Dude is an excellent Co-ordinator.

I thought the board consensus was he was angry we blocked him from interviewing for other DC jobs.  I guess that was wrong. He has gotten the short end of the stick with regard to early round draft picks for his D with us trying to prop up Bryce. We probably need a D heavy draft.

I mean, we just used a second and third round pick to improve the defense, not to mention trying to piece something together in FA (which I guess could be considered a negative). I doubt that he was upset with the Tetairoa McMillan pick.

As for him being upset, why would he be upset that we blocked him from interviewing for what's essentially the same job for other teams?

So how does the press totally miss the contract of the DC being extended?

Outside of hiring and firing, assistant coaches/coordinators contracts don't really ever get any press.

I don't think it was the assumption that he WAS upset it was the potential that MIGHT have upset him.
