I went back to check and I saw what Greg Olsen saw. Bryce had open receivers in the middle of the field on quick throws on all 4 plays against a prevent. There was huge chunks of the field open. He even had the 2 receivers open that he missed badly on late throws. All 22 will tell more. He should have had that ball out of his hands under 2 seconds with what the defense gave him

He can't see it

I called it when it happened that his dropped INT will lose us the game

Yeah if he pulls it down I think we go down and score and ice it. Oh well, it's really going to suck if the niners and packers win

yeah, they took TMac away and let Coker beat them, and he did.  XL should have had a field day.  We just are not there yet--but I think we will be solid next year if we have another good offseason

XL is not a good WR. His routes are not good along with his body catching.

My statement did not endorse him--he should have had a field day, but he sucks.  I share my feelings about XL in other posts (would not shed a tear if they cut him at halftime) and our attempt to develop him has hurt our team this year--not a fan.

Same page, bro

post game takes:

defense played very well considering it was the rams and the offense gave them tons of short fields.  the last td not even mad about that that was just an impressive catch

wr is looking really good not a huge need

qb byoung played really good and really bad this game still not sold on him the last series pretty much to me felt like the real byoung returninf...3 terrible decision passes and one drop by a wr.  panthers really need some real competition and best one win

overall team is looking up need a pass rush or more aggressive dcoord oline depth 1 journeyman upsixe qb and one draft pic qb and depending on how much shough progresses panthers have a shot at playpffs next year

stafford is good but to me looked like father time is catching up to him

We desperately need LINEBACKERS that are good at coverage and dissecting plays. The middle of the field was too open tonight.

I wasn't indicating our saying that you were endorsing him

Is it weird to be ok with a loss? As fun as this has been, I feel like this opens up more conversations on what needs need to be fixed to make us better next year.

In a way. I get it because even though I missed the game except for the very end it seems like it was a big positive.

Being happy after losing means we were just happy to be here. I think most of us were to be honest.
And you don’t want that but it is hard to blame people that have been starved for success for so long.

    • No poo tho you might could Jenkins for Legette. They got nothing at WR after the big 2 in Cincy. I don’t think you trade away OL depth. Could get a quality player in cuts. Really that 3-4 end spot what you should be looking for is someone who is stout with long arms and can push back the OL in both the run and pass game for others to make plays…. But we signed Wharton, sometimes I think Evero is a fraud ass nerd who should be an analyst at best.
    • you would honestly probably do Monroe Freeling more of a disservice by putting him in a position where is not yet ready to succeed. .we all knew Monroe Freeling struggled at the NFL combine in drills because of technique related issues & would need time to develop  & now all of a sudden before they even put the pads on Monroe Freeling is somehow a starting LT in the NFL ? if he struggled at the NFL scouting combine what do you actually think is going to happen in a live NFL game at LT ? .even our best LT of all time was not ready to start at LT when he was a rookie & he turned out to be a pretty good darn LT by the name of Jordan Gross ...just saying be patient Young Jedis
    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
