I think grabbing a OT at 19 is more and more the move at this point

Just re-sign Yosh Nijman and see how the draft plays out.

I think drafting a tackle in the first round is the more logical move. Rookie can start at LT with Ickey possibly missing a large portion to start next year. We also have to start looking at Motons replacement beyond next year too.

With all the needs on the D I wouldn't do that. We can get someone serviceable but we nee playmakers with pick 1.

Yeah I think you go with Nijman and Christensen and see how the draft plays out. That way you aren’t handcuffed. If you draft a guy, you have Nijman with him and Christensen can go back to back up Guard.

Perfect world yes, but this draft class isnt stellar. Top LBs will be gone I am sure and same can be said for edge rushers. I think OT, WR or TE will be in play at 19 if we are to go BPA

I think Saddiq or Styles will be available at 19 and if either are there you take them.

I agree. Saddiq should be there, I highly doubt Styles will be there but I am hoping.

If an OT falls to us in the draft that could start Week 1, then you take him without question.  Gives us a LT for the season since Ickey is likely to miss all of it (even if he can come back late in the season, it's hard to just step in and play well in that situation, so might as well just take the lost season) and then gives us options in 2027 when Moton might be done.

I'd rather use the 1st on a defensive player, but if we can lock down a starting OL on a rookie deal for the next 4 years, you have to take it.
