I just took a look on the google (which doesn’t lie) and it says he was the assistant QB coach/passing game specialist this past year and now he’s been promoted to passing game game coordinator.  
 

Not sure what the difference is other than title and probably a few more $$$.

If you can help him, it stands to reason you could take on lesser challenges.
