I mean...I think the far more likely explanation is that he thought Bryce was about to throw the ball.

Yeah but it was a db blitzing from the corner and Bryce was about to unleash a Hail Mary (lol) and did not see the defender at all. jumping didn’t do anything and wouldn’t have stopped the pass.

Bryce might be so small that big objects can’t actually hurt him. Kinda like swatting at a fly.

JC dipped after his concussion this year.  Coincidence? Possibly.  Possibly not.  Might be there with Stroud as well.

Brain clouds dulling reaction/processing.

As if I have any medical knowledge, it seems possible though.

Horn's biggest issue this past year was just tackling and Chris Olave. Outside that, he was typically very good. He allowed a significantly lower passer rating this year versus last year. He was almost across the board better except for....missed tackles.

Do you have a video of the play? I am not recalling it specifically.

Missed tackles. Maybe shying from contact to protect noggin?

It's a two year uptick(although this year it was WAY up). My recollection of a lot of his missed tackles was going for the strip rather than actually tackling the person. I don't think it is concussion related, I think it's discipline and technique related.

Well that is a bright side.

Also holy poo there are a ton of sock puppet accounts propping up Bryce.

It wouldn't surprise me if Tepper's Panthers PR has a staff group dedicated to keeping pro Bryce Young accounts across social media platforms churning out positive posts about him.

I mean...I think the far more likely explanation is that he thought Bryce was about to throw the ball. Bryce has taken some BIG hits in his career and some this season, as well. Not to mention, with this cutesy sideline run BS, he has been courting some of these big hits to attempt to draw flags.

In general, he is rarely getting blasted because he is fairly elusive, scrambles to throw often and doesn't  take a big hit to get a big throw/completion. He is going to the ground or hucking some duck in a general direction if he is about to get walloped.

It's may also be harder for a big guy to get down low enough to hit a guy Bryce's size in the chest/waist vs a taller QB, especially with the QB protections in place. I'm not saying that they can't do it, just that lowering your center of gravity an extra 6 inches may feel a little weird and unnatural.

If you look at the random Twitter accounts a lot of them started posting towards the end of 2022, so when Alabama was trying to gin up another heisman for him.

i imagine the same people control a lot of these accounts. Tepper just uses the team media outlets and reporters, and maybe pays JT O’Sullivan. This never ending slop on social media is probably from his agent.

I can picture the little IT geniuses putting pro Bryce bots to work as I type this. Probably for all his clients.

that dude fetti is the real mccoy.  He may be the dumbest person I have ever seen on social media.   Between calling people the n word, his rap career, his "podcast" , wanting to meet people to fight etc he truly may be the biggest idiot I have ever encountered online.  Much like I listen to mac and bone, I simply cannot stop reading his diatribe

Carr, Lagway, Meste, Raiola would all still be underclassmen who can return for more NIL money. CJ Bailey at NCST is another QB who could make a nice leap next year.

Oof, as a Pack fan, Bailey has a lot left to be desired.  I'm not sure he'll ever be first round material.

    • The Raiders have completed a second interview with Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. The team has complied with the Rooney Rule after interviewing Evero and former Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel, who appears headed to the Chargers as offensive coordinator. That allows the Raiders to hire a new coach at any time. Evero has served as the Panthers’ defensive coordinator since 2023, first taking the job under former head coach Frank Reich. While Carolina finished at the bottom of the league defensively in 2024, Evero helped turn the unit around to finish No. 16 in yards and No. 15 in points allowed in 2025. Evero has coordinated two top-10 defenses — first with what the Broncos in 2022 (No. 7 in yards allowed) and then with the Panthers in 2023 (No. 4 in yards allowed). He has also worked for the 49ers, Packers and Rams. The Raiders also have Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady, Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, 49ers offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak, Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, Rams offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur, Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter, Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy, Rams passing game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase, Rams defensive coordinator Chris Shula and Broncos quarterbacks coach Davis Webb among their candidates. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/raiders-complete-second-interview-with-panthers-dc-ejiro-evero
    • This is the way. He’s no Luke, but who is? Golday is one of my draft crushes. I’d love him in the 2nd.
    • No, he mainly talked about rarely getting to see him and not begging him for tickets. He did state that he had to pay 1/2 price for his tickets to our game. He is Alex father’s brother. He was a nice guy, drank grey goose with me. He showed me some pictures of Alex taking picture with fans and family. Neat experience. The board member talked a lot about the arena and projects that are way behind. The Willis incident was random and happened towards the end of the first period. Willis is pretty stout. Other than that, more storm brews and a 2-1 win, it was a great day. I’m am curious what happened to Primo subs, anyone know?
