Championship Round Playoff Thread

I'm not going to write off the Patriots because that's exactly what happened a long time ago with Brady's first SB appearance. Not saying Maye is Brady, but if the Pats D turns Darnold into a pumpkin and they very well can, Seahawks will be in real trouble.

If the Patriots win, it's going to be a very ugly game. If Patriots give up more than 10, they're going to lose.

This one is feeling like Denver v. Seattle from 2014. Seattle jumps up big, pressure lessens and its just a 60 minute ass kicking.

43 to 6, over by Q2.

We should have intercepted them and taken control of the game but Nick Scott did Nick Scott things and Evero went into a defense that guaranteed a win for them. They are still lucky as hell and overrated IMO. Glad they lost and Stafford is still a bitch.

Puka broke up that pick same as he did today on a near pick. I give players credit for making plays. Stafford has a SB win and is a perennial playoff QB while we have 8 losing seasons in a row. I'm no Rams fan but we'd be damn lucky to have gotten him instead of LA.

I was thinking the same thing - winner of the rams Seahawks game is going to obliterate the Patriots.

Give credit to the Pats defense, but it has faced 2 teams that had no oline and a broncos team playing a backup QB

Sam Darnold was the 2018 QB. Not Mayfield, Allen, or Jackson.

Firing Rhule was the key. Wilks, Darnold, CMC, Rico, TMac, Moore, and Coker would have gotten the job done. Toss in all the extra picks wasted on day one and day 2 project players, and the Panthers have a top defense too.

Yes Cotchery caught it. The point is that they haven’t been calling it that way all season. He’s headed to the ground. All they’ve cared about is surviving the ground. How many steps taken hasn’t been considered.

He's headed to the ground after taking a step (a football move lol). They definitely haven't been officiating that consistently but I've seen similar plays be completions.

Tepper would not have had the patience to hold onto him long enough imo. When Darnold took that year off in San Fran he got a chance to totally reset himself mentally and learn a poo ton from Kyle Shannahan.  Would any of this happened without that crucial year off?

Hard to say.  He definitely learned from his stops in SF and Minn.

Stafford is not a bitch, he was making God-Tier throws that entire game. Xavier Smith's muffed punt that lead to a Seattle TD was the difference in the game. Seattle won by 4 points and that muffed punt was either a 7 point swing or potentially a 14 point swing if the Rams would have gotten a TD on that drive he muffed the punt on.

That also ended being the only turnover in the entire game as well.

That and the Rams defense could not stop Kenneth Walker or JSN to save their lives lol. It's not rocket science, that's literally two dudes.

He’s a bitch

    • I may be way off base, let’s include this in that questions thread, but with the way the offensive staff turned on each other in 2023 I am happy to see anyone involved, gone. I had a bad feeling about Caldwell over it.
    • No poo tho you might could Jenkins for Legette. They got nothing at WR after the big 2 in Cincy. I don’t think you trade away OL depth. Could get a quality player in cuts. Really that 3-4 end spot what you should be looking for is someone who is stout with long arms and can push back the OL in both the run and pass game for others to make plays…. But we signed Wharton, sometimes I think Evero is a fraud ass nerd who should be an analyst at best.
    • you would honestly probably do Monroe Freeling more of a disservice by putting him in a position where is not yet ready to succeed. .we all knew Monroe Freeling struggled at the NFL combine in drills because of technique related issues & would need time to develop  & now all of a sudden before they even put the pads on Monroe Freeling is somehow a starting LT in the NFL ? if he struggled at the NFL scouting combine what do you actually think is going to happen in a live NFL game at LT ? .even our best LT of all time was not ready to start at LT when he was a rookie & he turned out to be a pretty good darn LT by the name of Jordan Gross ...just saying be patient Young Jedis
