In the piece and others reports have the  fins and cards are the main teams. With the cards being the leader, funny how both are losing big numbered QB then even looking at Willis for 60.......good luck with paying the QB spot near 100mill in cap space.....

I'm not buying it. He doesn't have enough good tape and production to get that kind of coin. I'll believe it when I see it.

Would you want to pay 30? I think it will be a lot closer to that than 12-15 when it all shakes out.

I’m not thinking I want to, with Bryce still here.

No I would not pay that. I would consider 12 a year but more than that I will have to be convinced he is worth it.

Need will drive up the price. Supply and demand. I know Darnold had a 14-3 year or something before he got 3/100. And Willis obviously hasn’t.

I still think it will take more than 12-15. We’ll probably find out within a couple of weeks.

Cardinals released QB Kyler Murray.
It became a fait accompli that this would happen after no team wanted to pick up Kyler Murray’s guarantees in 2027. The Cardinals will eat $54 million in dead cap space assuming Murray is not designated a post-June 1 release. The veteran quickly becomes the most competent quarterback on the market, and the fact that he can play with salary offsets ala Russell Wilson after his Broncos release means he may be available for the minimum. The Vikings and Falcons are the most plausible fits if Murray wants to rehabilitate his value on a deal like that.

Its almost like paying huge money to an average qb is a bad idea

Im sorta surprised tua for Murray or Watson wasn't done. It off sets the huge dead cap by having a QB with lots to prove on a new team.

Yes, I too am terrified of the contract panther may offer BY and I do think there will be one. They have just got to first year of getting over the whole BY trade and his at best meh play. Its the Dave and Dan choice that either get fired or stay.

    • I still think another QB is brought in Day 3. Grier is camp body level at this point.
    • We’re in a pickle. My best hope is we protect him and can run the ball vs most Ds and the WRs are healthy so he has every chance to not look like what he looked like in too many games last year.
    • I'm really not stressing about upgrading from Bryce. I'm frustrated with our inability (or refusal) to recognize overall bad QB performance and failure to seriously address the issue. QB is the most impactful position on the field, and we're not only settling for what we've been given to this point, but we've rewarded it with a fully guaranteed 5th year extension for a player that's never played 2 NFL franchise QB quality games back to back in 3 seasons. I can't understand how that's ok from a coach's or GM's viewpoint. Successful franchises don't do things like this. It just doesn't make sense.  We do not have a top half of the league QB right now. Since we don't have that player, we should be looking for him. Pickett isn't it. Grier isn't it. Bryce hasn't proven he is yet. Until you have that sure fire franchise QB, you keep looking. You're not consistently making the playoffs, a deep run, or a SB appearance without one.  What's the worst that could happen? We end up with 2 potential number 1 QBs? How horrible.
