We have no centers.

I think we have one. Nick Samac. Young player, 24. 6’4” 315#

He is on the 53 pretty sure. Found him on the Roster tab on the team site. I think he may have been active before.

Looked at wiki.  signed in September off the Ravens practice squad. Apperantly on the roster all season. 2nd year guy.

Here is what it said about him coming out of college:

Overview

A three-year starter with good feet and technique, Samac could be in consideration for a move-blocking rushing attack. He is strong at the point of attack but will have limitations against NFL power. He operates with good hand placement and nimble feet and is a demon once he’s on the move as a pulling center leading the way. He’s fluid and agile in the run game, but those traits fail to do as much for him in protection. Samac punches with inside hands but can struggle to widen his protection base in order to protect his edges. He has eventual starting talent as a run blocker but needs to add more mass and improve in pass protection to get there.

He came here and did everything he could for us. And we need to remember and respect that. He's suffered from injuries for the past two seasons and like most linemen he was carrying some from before as well. Not sure if this is the end of the road for him or not, but good luck to him and his family.

Now, well, we've got a lot of work to do along that offensive line of ours.

Just like every year.

if they do this, its another mistake like letting Shaq go when he was willing to sign for near vet min, he had a good year with the bills and after Jewell leftd Shaq would have been perfect as a fall back/insurance.

I get injuries and all, but I also get the cap space and  he's willing to come back on the cheap. They must feel he's "done", I know he didn't have a good season bouncing around, still feel this isn't the right move.
