I actually would like that move. Metchie was with the Jets most of last year so you can't exactly put his lack of production on him. Plus he had leukemia and had to sit out his rookie year.

He'd be a lower cost signing with some good upside who has experience playing with Bryce. I don't see how that's a bad move, especially considering he'd be our #3 WR at best.

Well okay. But I look at his numbers and they are paltry. And three teams in functionally three seasons.  Sat out his first year.

this list makes more sense. These reporters have to spew content--anyone can look at needs and a list of potential free agents. I would think we grab a pass rushing specialist edge (vet) and I would add that Edge from Atlanta Ebiketie (before Pearce decided he'd go full retard in February)--but now that may be more difficult.   Fairly young, gets a lot of pressures.  Expected to be less than $10m.  good list!!

Trey Lance still gets my vote.  The problem being not only would that be competition for Dalton, but could potentially be competition for Bryce and you know we can't have any of that.

Do we really want to pay an ILB 20 mill a year coming off his first elite season? Jags didn’t even pick up his 5th year option.. Why not? Fred Warner makes 21 mill. Roquon Smith makes 20 mill. Lloyd doesn’t deserve to be in that range. Hard pass. There’s so many other options at ILB this offseason.

Seems to be the key. If you can do things with your arm that Bryce can't it doesn't seem like we're interested in you.
