In the ultimate team sport it's absolutely crazy how important the QB is. 

I guess in Ice Hockey the GK can have a similar impact? Doesn't happen in many other sports.

Imagine a team not signing Darnold after having an actually great year, but we're here contemplating extending Bryce for playing generally like ass, after just watching Tua and Kyler get overpaid extensions and now they're back up level guys lol.

Almost like they are in two different stages of development.  Like they need to win now with Stafford while he’s there. Who knows how long they have.

They already invested pretty aggressively in the secondary.  
And Garrett elevates any defense. NFC W should be tough.

That move at QB has to be yet to be determined.  Of course you trust McVey but that was awful high.   
 

So good for them. I mean, our hand was forced by Icky’s injury - I am not complaining about Freeling being g the pick.  

Freeling pick has nothing to do with the trade. Rams gave up a future first not the first they gave up to draft the QB. Not sure why the QB matters at all for the Garrett trade discussion. Whether you like Simpson or Freeling is meaningless to the topic at hand.
