Out of all 3 of our TE's..

I don't think Rosario ever got a fair shot under Fox, Fox mostly wanted a TE for his blocking ability and King was the best blocker but I think Rosario is the best all around TE out of the bunch... I hope we FINALLY give this guy a shot before we let him walk and go be a star for someone else.

Rosario is a player, but the guy who has highlight reels during OTAs is Barnidge--speed, hands, etc. He can play. I know, OTAs, practice, big deal. But he was also a player on special teams. Just needs a chance. I think Rivera will like what he has with these two guys. They have been basically underutilized while the punting unit was overutilized.

King doesn't really make any sense anymore he's too one demensional. I'm sure he'd love to come back though. If he can find Fox-ball teams he can have a 15 year career as a 3rd tackle.

Barnidge really hasn't shown much. I've never seen him make a contested catch or run anything other than go routes and post routes to the sideline. Seems like he's too stiff to run routes and his lanky frame would have him be to exposed going over the middle.

Barnidge shown he has the best receiving ability for big yardage, as he is the fastest TE. I agree that Rosario didn't have a fair shake to be our premier guy, but it may be a little too late for him, as he might not even be here next season. We will probably find our guy in Barnidge or draft a TE. (Maybe trade with New England one more time and pick up Kyle Rudolph.)

    • It appears that he sees things differently than the QB and OC, so Cam's advice is spot on. It isn't about number of targets, it's about quality of targets. Trust and being on the same page. BY doesn't know how to anticipate what XL is doing. And XL doesn't like where BY is placing passes. One on one film study would go a long way. More for BY than XL though. He has to adjust to XL. I really don't think XL can adjust on the fly.
    • If the team shows improvement, then he shouldn't be in danger of losing his job - even if the record doesn't reflect. This was a very young team (with a lot of new vet starters) that overperformed last season. Somebody's doing something right. Consistency is key with so much youth. And we're potentially looking at new starters at ILB and FS. Those are positions that take time to fully understand the defense. ILB calls the front 7. Safety calls the back 4. Injuries at WR and IOL killed the offense last season. Depth needs to be upgraded. Same with Edge. I think they would have won more games if Pat Jones doesn't go down early. Be smart with the roster and draft. Trade players for assets when it's time to pay them more than they're worth - yes, that includes BY if he doesn't make a pretty big jump. That's one of the many reasons Tillis is as important as anyone to the future of this team.
    • He had heart surgery a while back he looks Fraile I hope he is okay
