yeah from what they say in the books I think it takes a direct shot in the mouth to really eff with a dragon. Those spears didn't do poo.

Yeah they depicted Drogon as way weaker than he is there, I guess for the drama. If a dragon could have been taken out with spears the Targaryens never would've conquered Westeros with just a few of them.

Then again he is still young.
