Unless I read the wrong thing it didn't say whether Sal Pal asked about other prospects or not. The article Yas wrote about their conversation was about Cam though.

He definitely could have but I'm sure it wasn't an in depth interview. I doubt he asked much more than that...sal pal is a pretty good reporter and if there was something more I'm sure he would have said so. I think the media feels that newton will be the pick so they are trying to get hurney to make it official. Like I said in the op...how can you feel comfortable with a guy (with so many question marks) if you still are sure about selecting him two days before the draft? I think Dareus makes too much sense...believe me...I want a great QB as much as anyone else but I'm leaning more towards Moore and Clausen right now. We aren't going to be playoff contenders overnight...but trying to force the issue may be a disaster.
