Hottest hotsauce you have ever tried

Me and my buddies went to some south american place and their specialty is hot souces... I went to use a restroom while my friend signed a waiver for the hottest souce and they added it into my food. I farted fireballs for a week. I ended up eating like jar of sourcream. It was terrible.

I don't remember what the place is called, but some little restaurant in Salisbury had some wings, my dad's friend got the hottest ones and I remember touching my finger to one to get the sauce and then tasted it, within 10 seconds my whole face was numb.

Yeah, I don't understand why people enjoy burning their mouths. Does it make you feel more like a man or something?? Submitting yourself to pain to make yourself feel like a man, while sometimes it's alright if you do something epic, seems somewhat pointless.

Maybe this will help

People like myself who love spicy food may love it in part because it releases endorphins in the body. When capsaicin, the element of chili peppers that cause the "spicy" sensation, comes into contact with the tongue, the body is tricked into believing that it is in pain and releases the pain-relieving endorphins.

This explains why, like anything that releases endorphins, spicy food can become somewhat addictive. People may crave it and build tolerance levels so that, say, the 30,000 HU cayenne that once seemed very spicy starts to seem quite mild.

There's no reason to worry about this spicy food addiction, though. You'll never have physical withdrawal symptoms, destroy your life because of them, or need chili peppers just to feel good. It's a benign addiction and given the many health benefits of spicy food, a healthy one.

This thread just reminded me that I forgot to add the cayenne pepper to the wing sauce I made today... Oh well, it was still damn good.
