exposure isn't always a good thing. Being under the radar has its advantages. The 2003 season is a good example of that.

this isn't a John fox team anymore, If we are expected to do well, we better do well. none of this under appreciated crap anymore. If we expect wins, they better get wins.

Baah , we've been hearing the same song for years under Fox. It's time this team gets exposure in any way possible.

Cam's going to bring many things to this team, and it won't just be on the stat sheet.

Sorry but no one was interested in the good ole' boy Jake Delhomme, he was vanilla like Fox to say the least.

This is truly how I am feeling about the team. All that we snuck up on people blah blah blah is over we picked first overall and we picked a supreme athlete who is trying to be a very good qb sooner than later. We have an extremely talented team a few pieces here and there could use an upgrade dt or cb but honestly we need to shine even with the pressure of the national media THATS WHAT GOOD TEAMS DO!!!!! :cuss:

    • I don't know. CMC is like others and may have lip serviced that line of " I had no plan or wanted to leave Carolina" I think he even said he bought a house too and wanted this to be home.   Here's what I heard- In a way Panthers org gave him a test and he didn't "fight" back. They approached CMC and told him they wanted to put him on IR since the "season" was over or out of playoff reach. CMC didn't fight it one lick and agreed. They secretly wanted him to kept playing or want to, but there was no kickback. I honestly don't know if its real or not, 5th hand information type deal doing on. Yes he had bruises and pains, but was able to play...... but went along with Panthers staff. Odd to be playing games with star players, but whatever....   Plus the staff doctors found out about his tendinitis and there was nothing to fix it. Even with him missing time, it was the best move to trade him before he got inflamed constantly.    Lastly, its mostly time a combo of stuff, Fitterererere did not sign him to be the highest paid RB. That was classic Marty "give me a" herniay doing. GMs have different values on roster spots and rumor was Fitterererer was one that didn't want to pay RBs. For all his faults, he's right about that......
    • I think google is confusing signing bonus with guaranteed money. If you get a guarantee of say $10 million, it doesn’t matter if the signing bonus is $5 or $8 million, it’s the $10 million number that affects the cap, as the signing bonus is always just a portion of the guaranteed money anyways. And again, I’ll admit I’m not 100% sure about it, but I’m pretty sure it is the case.
