Predictions for Sunday....

Yes the almighty Kevin Kolb comes out and actually has a good game, please he is garbage that the Eagles suckered the Cardinals into giving up way too much for. He is a decent backup in the league and that is it. Panthers will run all over the Cardinals. D-Will, Stew, and Cam will combine for 250 rushing yards and we win 24-14.

We made Chad Henne, Andy Dalton, and Charlie Batch look like Joe Montana, Peyton Manning, and Tom Brady on a good day.

Our defensive line is total poo.

our secondary is poo

AZ - 24

Car - 17

I don't think our defense will be in sync until about mid-season, so expect AZ to put up some points. I think our offense will actually do better than most are expecting because Cam will have plenty of opportunities to scramble and make plays with his feet. He'll have those opportunities because he's simply faster than the defenders coming after him.

IF Cam does good then TRD will be gone for a week claiming he's been "busy".

IF Cam does terrible, expect a long drawn out post of why Cam sucks from TRD.

I haven't made a "long drawn out post" about Cam since the first one, there is no need. People realize what we have now and are more infatuated with his smile than his play, which is fine.

No one cares about the football side of Cam.

You think Cam's one drive where he ran when he should have thrown and threw a laser from 5 yards away and almost missed a wide open Shockey made me avoid the Huddle?

If anything, that drive validated every point I've made on here for months.

Like I'm scared of the Huddle's reaction to my posts or scared of what they are going to post about me...child please.

The only thing I'm gonna predict is a win. We're 8-2 against the Cards in the regular season, 4-0 on the road in our history. For christ's sake, we beat them by double digits with Vinny Testeverde at QB! We beat them by double digits when Jake had 90 total passing yards! We own the Cards, plain and simple.

TRD shouldn't stay away and frankly he is good for the huddle. Who else would say that a 19 yard run for a first down is a mistake or that a touchdown to Shockey was a laser pass that almost missed.

And then he actually debates that this shows how much he knows about football and that everyone else who disagrees is just ignorant.

Cmon now you can't just find that stuff anywhere. I am always interested in how many ways he can twist the facts to dump on Newton.

He is outstanding for comic relief and great for the posters here. He is to the huddle what soap operas were to the housewife for decades. No matter how bad their life was, they can always look at soap operas and see someone worse off. Conversely no matter how little posters know about football, they can see what TRD is posting and feel good about themselves.

We need people like TRD.

    • They definitely shied away in part of Deion and the hype machine. Hell, even the Browns' football people didn't want him. Just look at the faces in that room as the pick was being announced. LOL  But honestly, Shedeur checks all the boxes of guys who put up big numbers in college but don't project well to the NFL. QB friendly pass happy offense. Bad defense that forces the team to chase points. Weak schedule. Marginal measurables and talent. I mean, let's be honest, what plus physical traits does he have at the NFL level? Size? Below average. Arm? Below average. Mobility? Average. Then you add in the Travis Hunter factor of an all world athlete being your primary target. Finally, you have to look at his playing style. He basically plays like Johnny Manziel. There's pretty much only two guys who have made that style of play work for them in the modern era and that's Favre and Mahomes and they both have absolute cannon arms. Caleb Williams has that cannon and he's still struggling to make it work. Yeah, the Deion circus hurt him but when you objectively look at his NFL projection then combine it with the reports that he handled the whole pre-draft process extremely poorly it's not a shock he fell to the 5th. If his name was Shedeur Johnson instead of Shedeur Sanders there wouldn't have been this massive hype train around him. The media hype misled a lot of people regarding his NFL projection. He basically projects as a backup and the last thing you want out of a backup is a circus. Their fault or not, that's why guys like The Golden Calf of Bristol, Kaepernick, and Cam never carved out careers as backups.
    • *disclaimer, no need to tell us what happened in the end, just quit watching after he gets the Mountain on the ground.  I mean, he technically beat him.  Renfrow isn't cocky enough to then get leg swept and then have all that other stuff happen to him.
    • Well, it seems a little confusing, but I guess not: I guess they're thinking that we're going to the way that our receivers go. Barnwell just ranked us 31 at the (so-called) offensive skill positions. ESPN just doesn't think that much of the Panthers. I wonder if it was the O-line that bumped us up one spot, because they obviously don't think that much of our safety position, or our pass-rush. In any event, there should be ample enough bulletin board material here for the team.
