Jared Allen and moral victories

Given how many "moral victories" the Panthers have had, I thought this statement was interesting from our opponents next week. Seemed to echo Cam's feelings.

“Moral victories are like taking your sister to prom. What’s good for being runner up? You’re just the first loser,” Allen said. “We can take positive plays, but we are in the business of winning.”

Hopefully, Jared Allen is quiet on the field next week and the Vikes soak up another moral victory while we take the win. Would love to see Cam embarrass their defensive front like he did Washington's on the first play. Looks to be a fun match up, though.

Jared Allen is nucking futs. I have seen him on the sideline with a dip in his mouth and have heard that he even plays with a dip in. I am a fan of Copenhagen, but I would never try and play any kind of physically taxing sport with a dip in. The fact that he can do it comfortably speaks volumes about his constitution. Hopefully our offensive coordinator has a package in place to stop him come next sunday.

Jared Allen lines up on Gross's side, right? Or does he move from side to side?

good question, I am not sure of the answer but I do know that he has had his way with JG in the past...which is not unlike most tackles in the league.

I hope BB does not have to handle him though. Maybe someone can answer.

    • Thats a weird take, we had no chance at keeping Kobe
    • "by name"?  You mean they are letting him say he is retiring or stepping down? That's even more embarrassing than being fired (he basically quit) and so transparently false that the media will kill him and this university.  If this happens, I may just turn full fledge to an SMU fan since I live in Dallas now. I'm just about sick of this university's approach to basketball and football.
