KFFL reports Cam targeted him 9 times and he caught 8 of them against Tennessee (his catching percentage was a drastic difference from his usual ability to convert a target into a reception). In contrast, throws to Smith went for 5/8, 33 yards; Olsen was especially terrible last week going 4/11 for 45 yards; Shockey was only targeted once and he caught it. LaFell was at 1/2 for 18 yards.

This may be a new strategy for teams: try to take our playmakers out of the passing game and force us to beat them with Naanee. ....we couldn't beat Memphis with Naanee. Maybe Indy though.

I believe a lot of team take Nan for granted because of his drops and fearful way of playing of late. They rather focus their attention on Smitty, Olsen, and Schokey. If Nan and a couple of the other receivers can really start gelling with Cam, I think a lot of teams will start having way more respect for this team's offense.

Now if the coaches can just light a fire under the behinds of the defense and special team, can u imagine where this team could be?

The only problem with your last statement is that you have to have the players to light a fire under.

You could sit me on top of a fire as long as you wanted and I couldn't help the defense. You have to have talent along with the desire.

The INT hit Naanee in the hands (granted, it was behind him.)

The receivers need to learn to catch the ball that is in their vacinity. Every ball isn't going to be perfectly thrown like in practice...Dalton throw a ball on Sunday that was in traffic. It could have easily been pick-off but A.J. Green knew enough to turn around and jumped up and grabbed the ball while two defenders from Pittsburgh were all over him. Do u guys feel Nan would have been able to do that?

    • It’s like being on the Flyers broadcast team feed so far
    • Boy the flyers look good early. Lots of bad plays and slow start by our team. Hope that changes before the score changes.
    • I guess I should have stipulated outside the sacred cow.   I complained from year one that Bryce should compete for and win the starting job on his own merit but no he was just handed it. I have been right there with everyone that wants competition.  But I don’t really have a huge problem with it for this season the way it has gone because where are the viable people we don’t have to trade for? I actually am okay with tiny hands Pickett because he is so close to Bryce arm strength wise and to be honest, skill wise. Probably. And it is only a one year deal.  That also takes into account that the QB class is looking stacked next year and if Young fails miserably then we get either a reset or a real competition and there will be more guys that I would like looking at in the FA QB class next year as well.    I sort of accept where we are this year and look at it as another treading water year (at QB). I just want to get to next year with some clarity. More than anything. And they did empty out the room. Again, who was really there for us?  And I know it would not be a true competition at this point anyway. They are giving him the year, like it or not.    Also I don’t give a poo about winning games IF he sucks and or goes down after sucking because draft position and that stacked QB class.  And I want out from under him So Bad.     So I guess it is several factors that lessen my anxiety over his backup this particular season.    I am not trying to convince anyone, but you asked. That’s how I look at it.
