I think the Bobcats are the Worst Team I've ever Seen

Recommended Posts

I probably shouldn't say that because I am a team emloyee but sheesh. It's the 4th quarter and they only have 49 points and are losing to the worst team in the NBA by 23. I know they have a lot of injuries, but I don't think they'd be much better with those guys healthy.

I would try to trade some guys for draft picks. Guys like Tyrus Thomas, Boris Diaw, Corey Maggette, maybe even DJ Augustine.

I don't know how likely it is to trade any of them for first rounders, but we need to try.

If we can draft Andre Drummond and build around him I think we can finally start putting a good team together. Kind of like what the Magic did with Howard. They sucked until they got him, then they built around him.

I wouldn't mind a foundation of

C Andre Drummond

PF Bismack Biyombo (who I think is getting really good and is only going to get bigger and better. Very excited to see his growth)

SF Kris Josepth or whoever (that is just who one site had us taking in the second round. Would make for a great draft.)

SG Gerald Henderson

PG Kemba Walker

And then just stop trading for old crappy expensive players and signing bums off of the street.

Let's use our heads people.

I'm sure other teams are using their heads as well; and they sure as hell wouldn't want a $40 million man average less than 7 points, 3 boards and an assist per game, or a $50 million man who's only played 6 games this year. We'd have to be extremely lucky.

Kemba isn't a starter in the NBA at point guard, I'm sorry but that's become evident. I hope the team doesn't get rid of DJ and if they do get rid of him, they need to get a NBA point on the team to replace him.

Hes started what? 2 or 3 games at PG and all of a sudden its "evident" Kemba isnt a starting PG in this league????

You people kill me. Kemba is going to be a legit star in this league. Give him 2-3 years and then get back at me.

He can't shoot well enough to be a star, not a good enough passer either. He looks to shoot too much, combine that with the fact he's never been a good shooter.

It's not a good combination to be a iffy shooter and take too many shots. His best asset on offense is his ability to drive and he doesn't have the height or hops to finish consistently at the hoop. (In college he shot 42 percent for his career and below a 2-1 assist ratio, where he could drive to the hoop and get away with it.)

He's a spark off the bench guy unless he magically finds a shot that he's never had. ( I find that unlikely and highly improbable.)

You've got to give Kemba some time, PGs can take longer to develop. At this point in his rookie year, all DJ could do was shoot threes, couldnt drive and finish and was a bad passer and defender. Of course it didnt help that he was playing in an undersized back court with another PG who never should have been playing SG (Felton)

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
