There's 2 or 3 teams interested, but haven't heard of anything scheduled yet. He really wants to be a Panther. I remember talking to him about it in the Northern Vance weight room a while back. In my opinion, I think we can't offer him more money, so he's considering what's best for him and his family. If we could offer him more, there's no question he would already be a Panther.

I would like to know the details over these negotiations. We should be able to offer him a sufficient amount of money for a player with his status (unless he is asking for starter money). If we absolutely can't give him more than pennies, it would be about time for a new GM who can manage the teams' funds a little better.

All in all, I'm getting a little excited about this one. Could be a gold mine for us at LG.

This is such a poor arguement bro. We've let go of players that went on to do very well with other teams. We've also signed played cut from bad teams that went on to do very well for us.

A true negotiation is when neither side gets all they want which sounds like what happened here. We aren't desperate to add another center/guard so we aren't going to offer a ton of money. he is takin the offer back to se whatelse is out there so if he comes here he knows hhe made the right move. If we don't land him then we really have lost nothing. With tons of free agents on the market it is really a buyer's market.

Just read on twitter Jim Thomas ( Rams Beat Writer ) that Brown wants the weekend to think about signing with the Panthers after their meeting today..

I say we should shift our focus now and go after Ted Ginn Jr. He, and a new punter, would complete our newly revamped special teams. (As for the G position, we should just draft one. Then let him and Hangartner compete for starting LG.)
