Yes, we all want Claiborne overall - But of the projected players to still be available at #9, who are your top 3:

2) Quinton Coples

1) Fletcher Cox

Michael Floyd

Stephon Gilmore

3) Dre Kirkpatrick

Luke Kuechly

Dontari Poe

Riley Reiff

Out of those listed...

Luke

Coples

Floyd

Comparable DT can be grabbed in the 2nd to those listed. First 2 are BPA on D.....

1) Coples. I just think a DE is more important the DT at this point... Especially since I think the DT class is so deep...

2) Fletcher Cox. I know I just said DT is deep, but based on need, Coples outdoes him. If someone could prove that he was a safer pick, I might go with him at 1.

3) It's so open.... Floyd or Kirkpatrick would probably be my choice, despite the Kirkpatrick pick being a slight reach by 5 picks. But when you like someone, you go get em. I also know Floyd seems like a "luxury pick", but he would possibly be the most talented left.

    • KP is not a straight up carbon copy but they look awful close to me.  T
    • You are right. At the same time I don’t think people are watching games going come on Bryce put it on the ground or sail it OB or whatever. They just have trouble seeing him turning his 3 or four or five top games of 2025 into the weekly standard outing. Which you expect for the kind of money he will ask for (speaking for myself anyway).
    • In terms of comparing Pickett and Young's arm talent it's basically a push at best. Pickett is sitting at 6.2 yards per pass attempt for his career while Bryce sits at 6.0 Last season Bryce was 6.3 in yards per pass attempt. Only Justin Fields Spencer Rattler (both 6.2) Kyler Murray (6.0) 41 year old Joe Flacco (6.0) 44 year old Phillip Rivers (5.9) rookie Cam Ward (5.9) and Tyrod Taylor (5.8) had less pass yards per attempt than Bryce Young in his third season as a starter. Folks going around acting as if it is beyond the pale to say Pickett might have a better arm than Young are living in an alternate reality. You can choose to not believe your own eyes after 46 games but everyone else will acknowledge reality and move forward accordingly.
