So that means Blackmon, Coples, and all 26 player rated behind him isn't worth pick # 9.

So no player other then Luck, Rg3, Kali, Claiborne and Richardson will have a impact this year. These are the only player rated higher then Cox.

How stupid does that sound to you.

Does there ranking claim in lists players in order of who is most ready to see a football field? I don't think so.....

Tannehill is #8. Most experts claim he needs to sit this entire season.

So I stick by my stance. Cam needs defensive help NOW. We should add a player at 9 who can help now. DT class is deep, add one with the 2nd round pick.....player would be comparable and will also need to develop before seeing real time

And that would be just your Opinion because you have nothing saying that Cox doesn't have a bigger upside.

You are so easy to rile. I only hope for your sake that we pick him. I would hate to see you so angry and bitter for months because we didn't draft your boy. And before you say it I don't expect us to take Kuechly so if he isn't picked, it will be no big deal. If by some chance we do pick him it will be a big surprise.

We need to step back and think about this long term. We aren't going to the Superbowl this year. It really doesn't matter to me what we need the most "right now". I want guys with upside that will be studs for the next 10 years. The people that think we are going to plug in 3 or more rookies and win the division are silly.

And you would be wrong again

Cox hasn't generated the hype of LSU's Michael Brockers or Memphis' Dontari Poe, but he's the most pro-ready.

    • It is like when you go to da buffet at da Golden Corral and dey have all dis food and you get the same thing every time.   There is probably something you would like more, but you go to da same ol racks and get da same ol food every time.  Not sure why I am writing in trailer park dialect, but hey, watcha gonna dooo.
    • If we don't go OT, we will regret it.  What bothers me?  Are we going to get a starting-caliber OT at 19?  I think the draft is solid at OT, and the more I read up and watch video, the more I watch Lomu, the more I want him.   I see Freeling as a RT who needs some work in run blocking (since we need to run first, maybe not a good fit) and I see Proctor ending up as a Guard.  After Lomu (assuming Mouigia and fanu are gone), I think we wait until round 2.  In round 2, there are about 3-4 I like (Zuhn--good pass blocker and VERY underrated right now; Tiernan is a very good pass blocker as is Miller from Clemson, but both are not good in the run game.  Max Ixxxxx from Ariz St is impressive too---technically, there is not a of difference in these second tier guys--good in pass pro, need work in the run game.   If we wait until round 2 for an OT, we probably need to sign Nijman and start him early.   I almost think this is what we should do if Lomu is gone.  There is a big dropoff after him, imo, and I think we'd get better value if a stud ILB or edge is there.  Someone like TJ Parker Clemson makes sense. If Lomu is gone, trading back might be the play.
    • And what is x gunna help with except show him what not to do. Plus for the first year and a half he was just an obstacle
