Ban Trd?

You know why that's a troll comment? Because IT ENTIRELY IGNORES all the evidence that shows Cam is doing exactly what you are telling him to do. How many articles have to come out about all of Cam's hours in film rooms, dedication to studying, footwork sessions at IMG, and heaps of analyst reports all saying that he's doing these things before you'll at least slightly acknowledge it? It's like saying "geez, I hope Obama closes the Democratic nomination, Hillary might catch up" three years after the inauguration: it just shows you're a f*cking idiot troll.

There, for those who can't click on a quoted link. . .

Nothing he said was wrong at all, why not just respond and say "Good thing he's working on it" instead of "BAN TRD URGH HOW CAN THE HUDDLE DO THIS"?

It is not at all like the example you gave, since he didn't offer an alternative or suggest at all Newton was going to lose his spot. You'd be right if he said "I hope Cam keeps working on his footwork, or Clausen might replace him!" or something stupid, but he didn't.

Unfortunately many Huddle posters care more about who posts something than what is said. They also are fine with people derailing threads into junk as long as it isn't someone like TRD or grits. If it is, then the Huddle has gone to hell and everything is terrible.

Marguide, what do you have to say for yourself?

Regarding what?

No, you didn't bring up MM. But here's how it goes...

An article or comment appears highly complimentary about Cam. You make some semi-outrageous statement about his deficiencies. Because you are known as a champion of MM, fellow Huddlers compare his performance to Matt's as a way of refuting what you said. Nonsense ensues.

Don't play the innocent. There is a reason people almost unanimously see you as a troll. You made the bed, so you have to sleep in it.

Nothing wrong with saying Cam needs to work on his footwork. He gets lazy with it bc he is such a freak....

But it isn't like Moore hasn't shown horrible mechanics in both a Panther and Phins uniform....which I believe MM superior mechanics were implied. Moore has gone of his back foot and chunked it up many a times

y'all done been trolled by the MFCEO again.

that said...i don't care one way or the other. neither one of them bring much of anything of value to the huddle, but who does? it's a message board filled with people who think they know more than they do.

every TRD post

1. incendiary slight against cam

2. "wha? i never brought up matt moore, you said it first"

3. tall tales

4. "I've got an 8:30 res at the in-and-out burger" (followed by 3 paragraphs raving over how good their business formula is.)

5. this picture

6. "#insertphonytwitterhashtagreflectingfeelingsonsubjectsorotherposters

i would just motion for everyone to put him on ignore, if he's banned he'd just keep making accounts because he can't figure out something more interesting to do. Also there should be a default setting for every new huddler to have him on ignore.

Surprisingly accurate.

I think bans should be reserved for more serious things (personal attacks, posting false info, racism, allt trolling, major douchebaggery, etc). Banning for unpopular opinions would be kind of lame.

Mind you, I don't exactly shed a tear when other teamer trolls get banned.

    • I'm really not stressing about upgrading from Bryce. I'm frustrated with our inability (or refusal) to recognize overall bad QB performance and failure to seriously address the issue. QB is the most impactful position on the field, and we're not only settling for what we've been given to this point, but we've rewarded it with a fully guaranteed 5th year extension for a player that's never played 2 NFL franchise QB quality games back to back in 3 seasons. I can't understand how that's ok from a coach's or GM's viewpoint. Successful franchises don't do things like this. It just doesn't make sense.  We do not have a top half of the league QB right now. Since we don't have that player, we should be looking for him. Pickett isn't it. Grier isn't it. Bryce hasn't proven he is yet. Until you have that sure fire franchise QB, you keep looking. You're not consistently making the playoffs, a deep run, or a SB appearance without one.  What's the worst that could happen? We end up with 2 potential number 1 QBs? How horrible.
    • Easy to understand Pickett, if this is anywhere close to on point. Canales wants to get as close to Bryce as he can- get the pace and timing in the throws as close a he can to Bryce. So the other players don’t have to adjust so much, to a new guy.       If Cam was the 1, he would look for a rocket arm.  But Bryce is the 1. Look for limited in the same way.  Low velocity, plenty of air under it, feels just like home when Picket comes in. And you have the guys on the second team not having such a radical adjustment (if they have to play) like with Dalton to Bryce.    Enter Grier. I guess we will collect those types.
    • Best part is if we draft him, we can also use him as our fourth and one QB sneaker
