Our inability to beat the Falcons

They've had our number for a long time, and quite frankly. I'm getting fuging tired of us getting swept by them every year. We have no answer for Julio or Roddy, no match-up answer for Grimes and Asante. I feel like a win vs them is gonna determine whether we go to the playoffs or not.

We played them well last year, first half of both games we had their number. Defense just failed us, cam made some mistakes as well but I think he tried too hard to put the team on his shoulders. It's tough when every drive is a must score because your defense is unreliable. This year we should atleast split with them.

Michael Turners getting fat

John Abraham and Tony Gonzalez are getting old

The Eagles traded Asante for a 6th rounder for a reason.

They beat us last year cause we had NO run defense what so ever. I have a lot of confidence in our defense with the addition of Luke, Josh Norman, and our injured players returning from last year.

I think ATL will have a crappy season cause there still upset over the 2-24 wildcard score against the Giants, kinda like how Jake had a crappy season after throwin 5 picks to the Cards

We were spanking there ass at the home game last season, then the D ran out of wind...as for no answers for Asante!? He wasnt even on the team last season. No answer for Jones and White!? Roddy did jack and Julio had a couple big plays AFTER the D wore down. The persons we had no answer for is Turner and Gonzo...

John Abraham will be a year older. Curtis Lofton is gone. They have plenty of talent on offense but they just lost several coaches, that may hurt them.

Atlanta is our nemesis because we are bad. They play very well against bad teams and very poor against good teams. We need to become a good team. Asante Samuel doesn't scare me. Brent Grimes doesn't scare me. The only players they have that can turn a game are Julio, Turner, and Jaquiz Rodgers. No one on that D is a game breaker. They just play good solid smart football and that will always beat poor inexperienced teams.

Atlanta has two new coordinators. That may make a difference early in the year as they adjust. But they do have talent. You have to play smart and well to beat them. Two things we are getting better at.

As has been postulated. IF our D can show up at all, we should be competitive with anyone. If Joe Adams has a great year with PRs, we will have a great year. IF Cam can cut the INTs to single digits, we will have a great year.

The biggest IF of all is. IF Chud can actually take this O up a notch, while keeping it balanced, we will have a great year.

I just watched the 1st falcons game on NFL rewind and we just gave that one game away in the 2nd half.We could not stop Rodey White and imploded at cb.Even with our crappy defense we could have beat them if our offense would not have gone cold for a qtr.Captain gave a big one away wiith blown coverage on White. We will need to beat the Falcons if we have any hope at a winning season.
