PFT Game Attendance Article

Didnt see this posted but it kinda irks me that anytime there is a negative article regarding the NFL, for some reason a picture of the panthers is always shown. In this case, Bank of America. I was under the impression that attendance was pretty good at BOA. Why not show a picture of Jacksonville?

We have a long record without blackouts, I don't know why they show our stadium.. Maybe cause it's just so damn pretty.

Carolina was 7th in total attendance last year in the 21st largest market... so I' m not sure why they would choose us as the poster child?

Funny they didn't mention that the real reason that attendance is down is that the economy has tanked since 2007 and ticket prices are very high and in some markets going higher. Teams are pricing themselves out of the market. If it weren't for PSLs I doubt the Panthers would be doing nearly as well as they are given the caliber of product they put on the field the last 3 years and the facct that Charlotte's economy is still struggling.

Man I try to go to 3-4 games a year, but every time it's at least $100 excluding the ticket price.

Watching the game on tv, it seems like people who have seats in that front section are never seated for the beginning of the game or the start of the 2nd half lol.
