NFL.COM poll question (Cam Vs RGIII)

Recommended Posts

RG3 goes out and throws 6 passes and now this. Go figure.

He threw a screen pass to a RB and the back turned it into a nice TD run. RGIII willed him into the endzone...best believe dat. He also botched a handoff that resulted in a turnover but since that doesn't show up on a stats sheet it don't matter

his only TD came off a bubble screen to garcon.

washington's OL looked like trash and that's going to be a problem seeing as to how griffin isn't a hundred feet tall like cam. he looked outright small on the field.

I've got Skins fans in the family that think he is the second coming. I've been saying all along he was small. I don't wish bad luck on the dude, but I dont see him being durable in the NFL.

Honestly I wouldn't be shocked if RG3 was better statistically. Team have no film on him and won't know how to prepare for him like they will Cam, although if this question is who will have the better career than yeah it'd be incredibly dumb but just this year? Not too outrageous, we're seeing QBs drop off more often their second year while rookies got off to hot starts.

Why is this even a poll, RGIII is a rookie, the common sense comparison should be between he and Luck.......I get tired of stupid polls with stupid questions....

Luck is choose by the media. Cam was despised by the media. They will NEVER pit RG against Luck because they know he will win hands down.

They won't even pit The Golden Calf of Bristol with QBs of his equal. They are always drag Cam into the picture.

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
