Does Pilares get more playing time?

Well, his big touchdown kept us in the game and gave us a late lead. He took a well blocked screen to the house on a free play albiet but it looked good. You think the staff rewards him and tries him more to see what he's made of?

In general: Do you think there's a chance we see more of him?

One play does not a depth chart move make. But I think they'll give him a few shots here and there and if he can replicate results / continue to show potential he could end up with significantly more playing time later in the season.

Personally I like him. I hope he does catch on and turn into a solid receiver.

He should get more time. As I have said before I would like to see more 4 and 5 WR sets to mix things up in our offense. He def could run under routes and make people pay.

Cam isn't Tom Brady. Cam is at his best running and throwing for about 200 yards.

    • I do wonder what Lemon's ceiling will be. I'm hoping it's not the type of pick we look back on and he's JSN level lol. But I wasn't really itching for a WR this year, I like Coker's trajectory
    • Lemon was a hard one to think we’d passed on but I’m not opposed to it if there was a better player available.   I just question how another o linemen was seen as the most impactful player we could get at 19.  I hate to say it but even an elite LT isn’t the missing piece for the offense’s struggles. Bryce limitations shouldn’t limit us from drafting anyone imo, that’s just not acceptable. I’m not mad at the wr room currently, it just requires a lot positive growth from xl, Coker, tmac and horn.    we’re in unison about the offense’s ceiling given the signal caller, with that being said and known, maybe invest some high draft capital into the side of the ball that’s been steadily improving with the least amount of investments.
    • I also saw that he played basketball in HS and his mom is a yoga instructor. I get the athleticism now. Bball players usually translate well to the NFL.
