Panthers shuffle O-Line

Kuech the Sneak

Think of it this way:

OT is now another colossal need on an already long offseason list assuming the switch is permanent.

If it ISN'T permanent, then it'll be a nice little stunt in the development of a good RT prospect.

Lose/lose. Sweet.

Or, you can.look at it this way, putting the best guys on the field.

Guess you prefer your.hyperbull version.

You will see in a few days trust me. Its never good to mix up a oline like this and they have created two problems trying to fix one.

Bell is likely an upgrade over Piggy at RT.

If Gary plays RT like he did against the Giants....he isn't a downgrade from Bell at RT.

More worried about how well Piggy can still play C

Allright #65 at RT. Cowboys DL and LBers are licking their chops. He got benched last game right after allowing a sack. He tends to get caught backpedaling and the speed guys run right by him.

That was at G....he played a dang good full game at RT against a better front than Dallas has.

No one ran by him at RT

Williams has better mobility than Bell. Which can help him more at T than G. Bell is bigger, which can help him at G. It looks good on paper. And the cowpatty's are a perfect fit cuz they are a mess right now themselves.

If Williams can stay competitive. We may be alright. Providing hangman can be servicable at C. I have more hope than faith in hangman. But he is still around, so he has that going for him.

THE HELL?

Why not just insert Williams in at RG?

I can already see a messed up Oline Sunday. Damn Rivera

Do you remember the last time Garry Williams played RG? It was apocalyptic.

His skillset fits tackle better than guard, he's not a superstar at either place but he'll be better there (we hope). He can't be any worse than he was at guard. Meanwhile if you watch Bell play he looks like he should be able to handle guard.

There is potential for our line to be better this way than with Williams at guard...but it's unlikely it will be worse.

This staff's decisions just get better and better....let's trade for a tackle then not even give him a chance in the rotation. Oh and I must have missed where Bell was having problems at RT, he and Kalil were the two bright spots on the line so far....

I believe this has more to do with the RG spot, Bell is a good RT I've been saying for a while I think he would make a pro bowl caliber RG.

At this point if Campbell struggles and Gross contiues to look as if he has lost a step I want to see how a lineup like this would look....

Campbell-Silalotu-Hangartner-Bell-Gross

Cambell is the most athletically talented OT in the NFL and its not even close, if this guy can put it together mentally he is a monster.

If my memory serves me correctly Hangman is a much better C than a G.
