I will get bashed for this but... any chance Carolina makes run for 6-6?

I think the Bears and Falcons are the best teams on our schedule. seeing as we were literally seconds away from beating them, I think we can beat anyone. Will we beat them is a different question.

i think it was only a matter of learning how to finish what they started.

they finally did.

let's hope they don't forget.

except for one game where the lights were to bright for them at the moment they could have won any of them. minus the falcons game, the problem this team has been that they couldn't figure out how to get in the endzone. offense has been slack. it's on them. last year it was the opposite. the defense couldn't keep people out of the endzone.

looks like right now they are both doing their part. if they keep it up, i think they win more than they lose and could end up with a winning record.

    • At this point, I think Chubba is the odd man out. I hate that, but I think Dowdle gives us more production and big play ability.  But there is still a lot of football to play.  I think it depends on how much Dowdle will want too.
    • I’ve been anti-trade when it comes to Melo, but the way this season has started, it may be time.  I love his game and he’s a cool dude, but I’m starting to think, if he’s your best player, you’re never going to win anything of significance.  Too many brain farts, too many injuries, and ultimately for as fun and entertaining as he is to watch - his game is indeed a thing of beauty - it just doesn’t translate to wins.  And that’s IF he even plays.  I think it’s time to cash out and maximize the return.  I love Melo, but I think it’s pretty clear what the ceiling is for a team where he is the best player.
    • Every NFL team, college program, hell even HS has numerous "what ifs" that got derailed by injury. It's a brutal sport and half the battle is just getting lucky enough to stay healthy. Doesn't matter how durable you are and how well you take care of your body everyone is one weird hit or awkward twist away from a career derailing injury.
