patterson may fall out of the first...

He's way to raw and unproven to go in the first, never once understood why he has getting so much love, is he tall with decent speed? Yes, probably is the best WR in the draft in regards to that, but I want more info on a guy before we spend our only pick in the first of him I want someone like Hopkins or Austin who are not only exceptional talents but has shown consistent improvement.

The way I see it with either Austin or Hopkins worst case we get a mid rang #1 WR or a good #2 Wr, but with Patterson he could be a complete bust, so no thank you.

I dunno if he'll fall out of the 1st, but I definitely don't want to spend a 1st round pick on him. Raw, unproductive, and immature - not a good combination. The draftniks have been hyping him and Austin a lot, but really, no one knows who the 1st WR off the board will be. It would not surprise me at all if Allen, Hopkins or Hunter took their place.

Outside of Clausen, Jarrett, and Brown we've had great success with picking players that fell to the second round.

Our second round drafting has been terrible in the last 10 years.

Eric Shelton, Bruce Nelson, Kerry Colbert, Everett Brown, Jimmy Clausen....that us year after year if second round suckage.

    • Considering how you and a few others were saying that the team needs to move on from Bryce in 2025, that he isn't good throwing deep, and has no chance of being a quality NFL QB... I'd say inevitably incorrect. 👀
    • I think the difference is that this year we are basing our hype over players and not the coaching staff.  Especially under Reich.  The star-studded coaching staff was going to put us back on top.   This year the offense improves with the addition of TMAC and keeping all our O-line assets on the roster plus we added depth at RB and TE.   Evero was retained because, IMO, he didn't have any talent to work with outside of a couple of players. This year almost every position was address and IMO better depth. There are a few question marks but the improvement of the D-line may help cover some flaws in the backend.  I am more excited about this season, talent wise, than I have been in several years.
    • A few autographs i have.  Stephen Davis Jonathan Stewart     Chuba Belongs.   (1 B, 2 B's,  who honestly gives a fug).
