Boating.... I love being on the water, I love the tranquility of sitting at the boat dock late at night enjoying Chill on satellite radio while sipping hot tea. I reminisce the sound of the wind when I went sailing on a chartered boat in the Caribbean. I am working around the clock to hopefully set up a comfortable retirement at 42-44 years of age so that I can pursue a sailing lifestyle.

There was a good article in USA Today a week or so ago about the new generation of people working to retire extremely early. Some were able to do it by mid-30's. Not many had high paying jobs, just dedication to saving every penny and living frugally. Good luck to you. Kids will prevent me from doing so but I've been saving and investing since my freshman year in school so I'm way ahead of the game.

I have been very fortunate as of late with commercial real estate.... most of the loans are set for 10 years which would make me 41 and by then that income will be able to replace my medical income but allow me to walk away.

History.

Reading, studying and watching. And visiting the places where it happened. I am heading to Charleston this weekend to tour Sumter and the Waterfront. I have been to Gettysburg twice, Fredricksburg, Fort Fisher more times than I can count, Pearl Harbor, Corregidor, Egypt, Israel, Constantinople (otherwise known as Istanbul) Rome, and many other places of historical significance.

Oh and women. Preferably naked ones. Although these days the only naked one in my life is my wife. :)

the international backpacking scene, the study of humans in every conceivable facet

those two pretty much sum it up. everything else manifests itself as an interest with those two scopes (and both scopes are themselves essentially the same thing)

Acting, traveling, BBQ/ grilling... honorable mention to astronomy, & learning about different cultures.

I'm a professional actor who's managed to create a character that has become fairly profitable on the Ren Faire circuit. He's a troll, who happens to know a lot about astronomy. For 5 years my wife & I towed a 30' Dutchman all over the lower 48. KOA is my Kampground...

In our 30's we got to see a huge swath of America. The time between faire's was chock full of different styles of BBQ, beers, wines, whiskeys, tourists traps, & national parks.

We only go to 3 faires since we had lil grump in my avatar, & we both teach, but we now make more than before, better benefits, & we have a beautiful view of the mighty Mississippi.

I am one lucky fug.

    • I mean, no I’m not going to panic when he got 2 Qs and looked great in 1 and looked not great in another (let’s not mention the drop).    Yeah we finally have a team that would be considered average offensively around him. Let’s roll this season.
    • The woe is me everything but Bryce sucks mantra is stale af my friend. Look nobody here is going to argue with the fact Frank Reich was not a good head coach. At the same time. Bryce Young is now in his second season with his second coaching staff and a handpicked young offensive head coach who has been known for working with QB's such as Baker and Geno. As far as the offensive pieces around Bryce we have the 4th highest salary cap allocation (that might be even higher now after the new Moton deal) dedicated to the OL in the entire league. We have 2 first round WR's one of them 8th overall the first time we've ever selected a WR that high in franchise history. And the fact of the matter is Bryce Young did not have a good preseason. It's not the first time it's happened either. We all hope to see he and the rest of the team flip a switch in week 1. But we should all be able to agree that the offensive performances we've seen from the entire QB room (Bryce included) in preseason was simply unacceptable.
    • We have seen Bryce play… what… 9 games with AT BEST what one would consider NFL average WRs? You just can’t see the forest for the trees and keep going back to your lazy take of revisionist history.    he looked AWFUL Y1 with the worst coaching I’ve ever seen in the NFL and one of the weakest WR rooms I can recall. He looked awful first half of y2 and great second half of y2 with average coaching and average skill position. I don’t know where this elite talent argument even comes from.
