Does Colby Cameron Beat Out Pickles For #3 QB?

That clip just reminded me how much I wanted Patton

Agreed.... this was more of a Patton highlight than Cameron. All I saw from Cameron was a few passes inside the 15-yd line, a couple of read option hand-offs and no pass more than 15 yards. That being said, I don't think Claussen is a good fit anymore, and whatever it takes to send him on his way, I'm okay with.

If you watch near the end of the highlights, whenever LA Tech is getting ready to kick the onsides kick, it shows Cameron's statline: 44/58 450yds 5TD 0INT

That's pretty good, against a defense that had Moore and Co.

Yep. He was great in that game, and wouldve been a great pick for us had we been able to draft him. There were some very good receivers in this draft, and they're going to show out this year.

    • There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster  2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive  4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
    • If Freeling or either of the Utah OTs dropped to 19 I'd be more than happy honestly. Our OT situation isn't great with an aging Moton at RT and a mess of a situation at LT if Walker goes down at any point in time.  What I'm expecting the Panthers to do is probably draft another weapon like Sadiq or KC Conception. That's been their track record in drafting R1 thus far. None of the defensive talent projected to be around 19 stands out to me. Unless they just want to draft a LB early (Rodriguez,  CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, Jake Gollday).
