Good list.

Its funny for me.  As a kid I spent a lot of time out of the state, 3 months out of every year.  Back then being from NC was more of a joke than anything.  All people knew was Andy Taylor and Gomer Pyle.  I remember getting in a fight in Miami at about 15 when a kid wouldn't let go of the toothless moonshinin hick bullshit.

Seems like these days there is a lot more recognition for just how diverse and cool a place NC is.

Surprising how many still stick with me, and I just lived in NC when I was 2-8 years old:

  • 2!!! Love cheer wine
  • Kinda 3, but it's just arguing that NC is better than anything near D.C.
  • 18. Out of nowhere, I've discovered that my Preset Bluegrass channel is what is on 90% of the time I start my car.

You guys should just YouTube wagon wheel. Old crow medicine show is the original artist and they have two versions. The second version is a little Hawaiian sounding. Darius Rucker, aka Hootie, covered it and it is growing more popular.

    • and one is lead by 3rd year starter we are debating a contract and big decisions  on soon…..and one by a rookie 2nd rounder thrust into the gig.   which is the entire point.  And we are talking Tyler freaking Shough.  Not Drake Drake Maye Maye.   Which is really the type QB that should be brought up.  Actual good young QB play
    • Saw a mock draft where we selected this player.
    • Incorrect, I have watched us consistently over quite a number of years. When I say Cam relied on athleticism, I simply mean his dual threat style and athleticism overshadowed the deficiencies in the passing game (his own or those created by the system).  Now I wouldn’t disagree that our OCs over that time were not amazing and arguably held him back, but correct me if I’m wrong, Cam had a habit of locking onto his receivers and overthrowing them. Gettleman even drafted two big receivers - Kelvin Benjamin and Devin Funchess - to give Cam receivers with a big catch radius.  Again, correct me if I’m wrong, but Cam had some mechanical issues. For example, the reliance on arm strength over touch and his footwork often led to him throwing off the back foot. There were many debates on these boards about his mechanics, with far more knowledgeable posters than I braking down what he needed to improve on. End of the day, I was as big a Cam fan as the next person, but he did have his shortcomings as a passer. Had he played under someone like Sean McVay or a similar offensive guru, with a high quality QB coach, then I’m sure they would have ironed out the kinks and he would have been far more dangerous and successful than he was. And that’s a scary thought of what he could have been under the likes of a McVay!
