Armanti getting the love from LaFell and Smitty

Captain Morgan

Just camp guys, call it hating but it's just keeping it real...Armanti has plenty of negatives. Please remember he always preferms in camp, poeple loves him at camp last year too.

Armanti is one of those players that needs to preform come game time not just in camp.

I will never understand the folks who do not want a player on their own team to succeed.

AE has had a tough row to hoe here and been an underdog from the get go with J Fox.  Id love to see him do well for the team and as a story of how far  hard work perseverance can take you, it would be great.  Id also not mind dropping Clausen and having Armanti as a emergency back up availabil if CN and DA go down.

Until Armanti show something on the field, I won't hold my breath.  I love the routes he run, but his hands aren't that great.  I like his study habits and how he makes changes to his game coming in every year, but the truth might be, he's just not a good receiver.

I would love to see a success story come out of this because it would become the stuff of legend.  They'd make movies about it and stuff.

We all know that Edwards being taken how and when we did was a bonehead move by Hurney.  That much has become evident over the past 3 years.  The question now is whether or not he can become something more than a mistake by a problematic GM.

The real test comes when things get physical. To me, the biggest problem with Armanti isn't his athleticism or his knowledge -- it's his size, or lack thereof. It would be so great if he could be a quality receiver (finally).

Happy for the guy, would like for to get 4-5 good looks on Friday. Biggest concern is if he can beat opposing DB's within the 5 or will he continually get mangled out there like Jarret. Everyone can catch, but being physical is what sets Smitty apart from the rest. Would love to see Armanti follow in his footsteps. (BIG WISH, I KNOW)

and thats why I some times i question the fans here. Why not root for everybody on the roster. They all work hard. The common goal is to contribute, not stats. they refer to this quite often. countless times yet, it feels some people here refuse to accept it. We dont need to have a A+ roster.
