I'm not worried, I simply said week 1 is going to test us. It's a good way to test our teams manhood.

Seattle will not be ready for the defening silence of BofA Stadium and our "12th Librarian" crowd.

I lol'd so hard.

Maybe that was the master plan all along, to have teams come in ready to eat up boos and feed off of them, only to hear nothing in the stadium.

Seahawks are a better team than us right now and probably will be in week one. Doesn't mean we can't win that game.  We just have to match their intensity, concentration, teamwork, and leadership.  Under Rivera, I don't see all of these happening at the same time and that is why we lose more often than not. Inconsistency will cost us in week one.  Seattle is too complete of a team, playing as a team.

I thought we looked a whole helluva lot better against Chicago, but some of the same issues popped up.  Who's to say we would have been able to sustain a TD drive with the first team if Norman hadn't served the ball up to them in the red zone.  And the PI call on that pass to Olsen was legit, but we can't expect to get every call our way.  Point is we were fortunate to be in that position.  Moments later in the game, Cam threw one of the most horrifying INTs I have ever seen.  I agree that it was a "training camp type mistake" but those tend to carry over for us into the first few games.

Pattern:  We don't really put it together in the preseason (1-3 or 2-2 record looking mediocre).  We go 1-5 out of the gate and find ourselves in deep poo.  We lose a couple of heartbreakers that we should have won (Atl and Chi) and we are out of the playoffs by week 10.  Then we go on to win 5 or 6 games.  I don't see the pattern changing.

Our only hope is that Shula knows what the fug he's doing and really is holding all of his cards.  I haven't seen anything from him at all so far.  I have seen what Rivera brings and if Shula doesn't make him better, we will not play well in week 1 and we will not make the playoffs.

They where more "talented" than us last year and we lost to them by  4 pts  .......if it wasn't for that poooo throw by cam in end zone we would be  talking a different story.

I bet you that we beat Seattle come week 1!

Yeah, I've read it over and over, it's preseason. The funny thing is that it's preseason for every NFL team. It's just that with us, we keep throwing around that it's only preseason. Does anyone think that we could scored 40 points against Denver and held them to only 10?, cause I don't. I love my team, I hope Gettleman can fix us. But honestly, I think that it's going to have to start with a knowledgeable, hungry, authoritative, passionate, now mess, game planning HC along with those same adjectives for a new OC and DC. But in addition with the OC and DC, they need to be schematic with great play calling abilities. I would love to see become one of best teams and eventually the best team in the NFL on a consistent basis. When you or anyone talk NFL, I want to hear Carolina Panthers!

Hawks are good, but totally different away from Century Link. Panthers have to win that game. I live like 25 miles south of Seattle and have two separate bets going on. I despise these fans out here! I'm gonna keep the faith, Go Panthers!

There are zero reasons why we should "laugh off" the pre-season based on our last 2 seasons. Obviously, we aren't doing something right. I just don't see how a bad team from last year can just say "fug it, we got this" in the pre-season.

Thank you.

...and what was Rivera's reaction to the game film of Philly...he takes the team bowling.

Priceless. Just priceless.
