There is a song by the Talking Heads called 'Once in a Lifetime'. One of the choruses in the song features the following lyrics:

 

'Same as it ever was'

 

And that sums up my feeling on the game today. An offense that produced 7 points. A defense that couldn't get stops late in the game. Costly late game turnovers.

 

We've all seen this before. All that's left now is a 2-8 start, a flurry of meaningless wins late in the year and another round of forum posts about how excellent and bright the future of the Carolina Panthers is.

After so many similar loses I'm numb to this kind of situations, so I was like oh there it goes NOW this is a Panthers game.

It's not like she's really going to do it. Can you really see an established business refusing to accept an NFL players money because they screwed up in a game? I just sent that to her because honestly she hates when she has to serve him (bad tipper) and I thought she would enjoy it.
