Its quiet.... too quiet

2010 was horrifically brutal man.  Not sure one loss can match that level of sustained lowness, but a loss Sunday would be completely demoralizing to the fanbase.

Other than hopefully finding 2 cornerstones for the future in Newton & Kuechly, everything that followed the AZ meltdown in 2008 has been an overall disappointment

nope, i was numb for the 2010 season. the novocaine wore off in 2011 and the end of 2012. i can't handle it if we go 0-2 this season by losing to the bills.

You guys must of not been around for 2001 or almost worst The Jimmehs first season. That was just brutal. Then again our fan base has the attention span of a two year old more less remember the last time they even took a shower so asking them to remember 3 years ago and especially 12 years ago is probably asking a bit much.

If we lose this week and also to the giants, it will take a frickin miracle for RR and his staff to be here next year.If anyone thinks we will make kind of fantastic run with the schedule remaining you are dreaming cause miracles like that only happen in the movies. They Have two games too turn this sheeet around.

The thing about 2010 is after Moore got hurt I knew we were going to lose almost every game. If we were in the game at the end I would be pumped hoping we could find a way to pull off the upset.

These last two seasons I have not felt that way. I feel like we have a chance to win any game we play. And we have had a chance to win most games. Then something stupid happens like a fumble, a bad penalty, a no call, a missed pass, etc.

And it hurts so much worse.

2010 was easier to deal with than these last couple of seasons.

I think everyone knows how big this game is not only for this season but for the future of this team. We start out 0-2 before playing a game in our division isn't good. Losing to a rookie head coach and rookie qb isn't good. I don't even want to say what the chances are of making the playoffs after starting 0-2.

They need to win period. Gave up a game last week against a good team. There is no excuse to losing to the fuging Bills none. Nobody is talking about it but we lose this game Rivera is gone. I'm not saying after the game or during the season but like Wilbon said on PTI if they don't start winning some games and figure out how to unleash Cam a lot of people are going to lose their jobs and it ain't going to be Cam.

Have you noticed there is an overall lack of interest or enthusiasm in this game? Seems like this is the least anticipated game since 2010, and it really should not be. Even the opposing fans are quiet. Its difficult digging anything up on their end.

So here is the question... lets say the Panthers do win Sunday in convincing fashion. Is that enough to energize the crowd at BoA or will it be NY South?

I am hyped for this game with a WIn in Buffalo it  can set the season up for Panthers with week 3 facing the Giants for revenge and bye week before facing Arizona.

we can go 3-1  :rr:

    • I am high, but that’s besides the point! The blue line is not good right now. I’ve said it all year. I don’t think this group meshes well. Slaven has been just OK Niki up and down Miller up and down ghost and Walker have been your most consistent guys. Maybe it comes together more towards the playoffs
    • I was expecting to see more cap room moves by now, which may be to suggest that we are not going to be that aggressive.  I have mixed emotions about that (because I think we have 3 needs on D and 3 needs on O--starters).  If you look to the draft for 3 starters, that is ambitious.  We need 6
    • Yeah we shouldn’t be competing with teams, bidding wise, to sign a WR. There will be one for us and our budget.  I keep saying, how many balls will there be to go around anyway? One thing good I will say for this offense is the ball has been spread around at times. Seems like I remember seeing a large number of guys have caught passes in a game. Or been targeted at least. 3 RBs 4 or 5 WRs 2-3 TEs type of stat lines. 10-11 guys.  Not every week but that happens.    As far as WR in general, we need the smaller agile and quicker component to compliment what is there. After that it should be about depth, having good backups for the starters so we can run things consistently still, if a guy is out for a week or two. That is especially important in game where you have to finish the game with who you made active.
