Cam was the only thing that changed in the last drive. He made better decisions(getting rid of the ball when nothing was there), he had better pocket awareness, he stepped into his throws.....

Because the Bills didn't have time to sub and was running the same formation. The receivers were also getting separation on that drive, making decisions easier.

What changed is the playcalling. Quick throws, no slow developing routes.

 

 

Yea something we should have done since the first QT. Shula is gong to non adjust Rivera right out of a job. Im still sticking with 9-7 at best but its looking like a sheer climb to that goal.

This team has to change their lack of energy on game-days. Our energy suck especially on offense. They come out and play like oh it's just another game, we're going to run what we run and if it works great we probably win... if not it's just another typical lost. No, change the energy and pace

 

IMO it's like that because our coach demeanor and energy is like that. The team always take the attitude of its coach 

 

Coaching goes a long way in the demeanor and energy of the team. I will say though; that the last drive was crucial in turning this game around.

But that's what we should be doing anyway... Slants, drags, screens, quick outs, then hit them with verticals, posts, corners, etc. have to set them up. Also, the coaches need to see that uptempo offenses aren't inherently evil.

They actually work to your advantage as it did for us in the last two mins. The less time you take to get the playcall in, set the play up, get lined up, and run it, the less time you give the defense to key on things and make adjustments.

 

so you're saying that if my OL sucks and most of weapons suck that i shouldn't consistently run plays that are totally and completely dependent on their ability and should perhaps scheme to mask those weaknesses

 

 

well i mean duh why aren't we doing this any good coa...

I swear if the Panthers start winning consistantly, I seriously don't believe some of you would know what to do with yourselves because u seem to love wearing your doom and gloom glasses long before the damn games are even over.

 

Panthers down 3 points in the second quarter...Game is over. Oh my Gosh, Cam isn't doing something right!!! Game is over.

 

In the meantime...Zod always seems to be doing his best Mike Mayock impersonation when it comes to Cam. Cam is over/under throwing..Cam is not setting his feet....Cam is not stepping into the pocket.... Cam is not fill-in-the blank. While accepting mediocrity from the rest of the team. 

 

Oh wait...The Panthers are now up by four. But there is still lots of time left for you doom and gloom folks to continue playing couch analysts of this game.

Shula over adjusted the first half of this game. After not taking deep throws and opening up the playbook against Seattle, he did it on just about every single play in the first half; which did not allow Cam and Co. to get into a rhythm.

      Hawks said nah we good and sent him to the shadow realm aka the Wizards. Cold blooded. I mean they're 2-2 in a series with a young up and coming Knicks team largely through 34 year old CJ McCollum. Even if they ultimately lose the series at least they are there and have something to build on. I think Hornets fans are just beaten down and lack the objectivity to assess the situation. They think we are going to get so much worse if and when we finally change gears. Worse how? We've already been a lottery team for years now. We've already been looking to win our first playoff series in about a quarter century. We already can't get past the play in and in failing to do so we have completely embarrassed ourselves twice looking like we don't even belong. Honestly there is absolutely no excuse for a team like the Magic to be more competitive and successful than us in the playoffs. Absolutely disgusting. But that's just me. I was fuging lit when we got the Hornets back in Charlotte but that is old old news. It's time for these boys to get into a playoff series. Enough is enough. If they can't do it for 2026-27 then they need to make wholesale changes regardless.

      Not one single pick that is asking me why we drafted a guy in the first place. It was a guy we needed and/or a guy that had certain traits making them stand out. Best of all, I feel everyone we drafted are capable of stepping onto the field this year and have a meaningful role (even Kuwatch on special teams). Obviously, nothing is guaranteed but I'm not seeing any huge flags on guys because they're risky projects or massive overreaches.
