After week 3 NFC will still be wide open.

We have an opportunity to really put a stretch on after the bye. If we stay disciplined and focused then we will make the 2nd half of the season very interesting (and me feel better about all the money im spending on tickets).

If I'm the coaching staff I let the team enjoy this for 24hrs, but after that the gloves come off and I remind them how much they suck and the cardinals will abuse them unless they continue on.

We seem to play down against average teams and up to better ones.

I would ride this team like a donkey for the next 2 weeks and not let them get comfortable at all. We are still 2 games away from being over .500 if we win them...

FOCUS....

    • didnt he get a netflix show?  he like byoung has dont nothing to deserve the hype with that said cant be all out on him until a halfway decent qb starts playing.  alot of times wrs play down when they know their qb sucks
    • This isn’t even mediocrity sadly. I would have been fine with a respectable performance that allows your players to make the play. He is the weakest link on the offense.
    • He obviously can't get signifigant velocity on throws beyond 12 yds. Quick game he's fine he can read leaverage and rip a stick route. But those 2 balls where you have to get air on it over the 2nd level but with pace he can't do it. He has to generate power from the ground up, he's still throwing off platform like Mahommes and he'll never have that arm. I think he knows whats open an can can actually get through progressions but he knows he doesn't have the velocity to throw that tight window ball or too a primary route with minimal separation, so he extends the play at times just so he can buy a easier throw or make the defense breakdown. Thats not sustainable.  He's simply not a playoff QB, he's serviceable and he's a great character guy but he's not winning you a championship even with a loaded team sadly. Some guys are great college QBs but just don't fit in the pros i.e Wuerfful, White, Crouch, Bennett, Manziel etc. The NFL is a different beast when it comes to the cerebral side of things and theres a lot of inate skills that come into play.
