Welp, a lesson learned by the NFL thanks to the Bucs...

God it must suck to be a Bucs' fan:

"But, Schiano HAS to go. It’s one thing to hate your coach (as both fans and players) if they’re a rousing success, but Schiano is just a hard-assed prick that consistently embarrasses the organization both personally AND with the team that is the product of his coaching.

He has done NOTHING to engender any goodwill and has no success to sustain the fans having to suffer through both the losing AND the circus. It’s the worst of all worlds.

Please, please, please–Glazers, Dominick, whoever; for the love of god, fire this walking dumpster-fire of a coach."

The Cards were just downing the ball twice and he had his guys rush and try to get it both times.

What a douche.

I'm fine with that. I'd love to see effort on every single down every game because as we have learned, the differences in some games have been just that.

Extra points are a great example. If everyone is just going to stand around then why are you out there? If you're not going to attempt to block a kick until the game winning 38 yarder, you don't deserve to win.

This is the one area college football is an improvement over the NFL, effort on kicking plays. It often turns out to be the difference in a game.

2003 gave in Tampa reminds me a instance of how important that is.

Effort toward blocking an extra point is a good thing.

Blitzing a victory formation is stupid.

Josh Freeman has requested a trade, but he is pressuring the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his outright release, allowing him to receive his full $6.2 million remaining salary and the freedom to sign where he chooses. The team has no intention of immediately doing that, however, according to sources.

i would as well. the bucs org is sinking to pretty low levels of douchiness.

it's only a matter of time before there is an outright mutiny of players. i think the reason they aren't yet is because they know that the bucs will commence a smear campaign against them and all of a sudden there would be all kinds of dirty/freshly spun laundry coming out about them from "anonymous league sources".

that FO and coaching staff is playing as dirty off the field as the saints D did on field....and what's worse is they are doing it with their own players.

Imagine how idiotic the players must feel when they are trying to bust up the victory formation of the team that just spanked them.

It would be funny to see what would happen if the players refused to do it.

Be even funnier if a team was prepared for it and blew up the guys who came in.

Chud turned em down? How embarrassingly bad is your organization when you get passed over by someone to take a job with the Browns of all teams.

chud was the 6th or 7th choice of the browns, if that tells you something.

funny...kelly toyed with both teams before blowing them off.

When searching for a head coach to turn around a losing mentality...

don't go looking for the finest football mind New Jersey has to offer...

lol, what a tool. They need to fire everyone in the entire hiring process of this guy.

...He looks like he never really got over that debilitating childhood affliction called 'dumb face'....I hope we massacre their azzes...

    • Not sure who said it first, but Tepper is the correct answer. Still, I'm gonna go with Kasay keeping it inbounds. If, you subscribe to the butterfly effect version of time travel consequences.... When we win SBXXXVIII everybody's lives change: Moose never breaks his leg, We win it all again in 05. Tommy Jone is unknown and Peppers stays home, Champs once more 2008. No artificial pig heart turning JR into a creepy weirdo, no lockout, no Clausen. Fox and Jake ride off into the sunset on their own terms. No 2-14, no #1 pick. But, no laptop, no Blinn, 3 years behind The Golden Calf of Bristol, we still get Cam. JR let's him grow his locs like he always wanted, Smitty sees Cam in a new light. Dreads swinging, (and Smitty with his 3 Lombardis behind him) Cam is old enough to get those calls. No Manning narrative, Cotchery TD, PI against Talib on Philly Brown, 10,000 RTP calls and Kony Ealy SB50 MVP. No Jeans Fridays, no Tepper. KB doesn't slip on his own meatsweat mid-route in SD, Cam becomes the 1st QB to win 10 straight SBs. Retiring after being elected 47th president of the US of A, Cam ushers in the Permanent Proletarian Revolution across the globe, Xi Jinping bows in awe. "ẄøŘƙƐṛ§ őF ŧĤə ŵØRłð, ŮŊÏŦƐ!!!"
    • Yeah your right the owner was copping hand shandies while all this was going down
    • I mean not surprised the Patriots took him in and aren't trying to push him out. They've been the most morally bankrupt team in the NFL for a long while. Wouldn't be surprised if Vrabel has his own dirt on Kraft/Brady and other assholes from that organization over the last couple decades.
