someone brought up in a thread last year when kc played when belcher died they had no flags as went for the cardinals and skins when their respective players died except a delay of game which they couldn't control . Don't know if it's true or not but i expect the viking Oline to get away with ALOT of holds on monsterz inc sunday.

 

 

Not sure about the Cards but the Skins were flagged for 4 penalties for 34 yards the week Sean Taylor died.  Buffalo was flagged 8 times for 101.

Guess he actually never spoke to his son.  Does not change the tragedy for the child, but make it worse as he never got to know his father.  Only the piece of garbage his Mom was dating.

 

Hard to have a great deal of respect for the Mom or Dad in this one.  The "might have beens" are incredible here.

why do people say this stupidity whenever something bad happens like this is something unique to the now? if you think a 2 year old being killed is unique to what we have "become," try looking up the crusades when babies were held by the ankles and beaten against trees.

You miss the point. It isn't unique to now and that's what is sad about it.

We have progressed little as a world society and as a result the most defenseless among us, be it children, animals or the elderly continue to be assaulted as they are easy outlets for every aggression. I'll save the rest of my commentary on that subject as his board isn't about Mother Theresa'isms'.

What I find amazing about some who post on this board is how much the term 'dumb' or 'stupid' or any other catchy little put down certain respondents use to belittle someone else's thought processes. You know nothing about me. You know nothing about anyone on the board.

I don't find the need to denigrate what you say, whether I agree with it or not, and I'd appreciate the same courtesy.

Enjoy your weekend and that glorious Panthers win that will happen tomorrow.

1-4 here we come. After tommorrow we will be three games back from a wild card with no chance of edging teams like San Fran, Detroit or Packers. I will be watching the rest of our games just hoping we lose for a great draft spot and ofcourse the firing of Rivera. Call me a bad fan, I just call it tough love.

I've already given up on the Panthers making the playoffs,but I'm still a fan and plan to go to a couple games,especially the one against the Patriots!
