This is why I hate Thursday Night Games.

Awesomeness!!

We're almost 72 hours removed from Sunday and the fans are STILL Chirping back and forth at one another. Fans and players alike have a difficult time moving on from a game like the one we saw on Sunday as it is, but when you're talking about having not even a full 4 days to prepare to play another game, I would argue its not fair. Its no secret that the Thursday night games have always been somewhat subpar, but its all about the money. I fully expect a terribly played football game Thursday night, and the team that makes the fewest mistakes will win, simple as that.

i'd be surprised if any players are still thinking about sunday unless it's because of some question asked by a reporter.

it think it's pretty much just fans and reporters still talking about it and maybe butthurt rams players.

i can't imagine that the team itself wouldn't be solely focused on the bucs this week. division rival (that swept us last year) on prime time and it's an away game. yeah, that's where they are looking. they can't afford to not be.

it's easier for them, tho, because every day this week is about getting ready, from meetings to practice. i don't know if they were even able to take a day off this week.

for us it's just a lot of waiting.

for myself, i'm looking ahead. rams are history.

How many times have we seen teams, after an emotional win one week, come out flat the next week?

the rams was an emotional game?

Not for our guys.

The rams? Yeah. And our guys played the rams emotions against them.

Wasn't even an emotional game for panther fans.

First half was boring and ugly.

Wasn't until the second half when there was entertainment, in the form of the Panthers taunting the rams into stupid errors every snap.

On the flipside, we're atleast playing against a terrible team who has a short week to prepare for us too.  We also get 3 extra days to rest up and prepare for a more difficult opponent (barely).  This one works out in our favor.

Was fixing to post ths very thing.

If we get a W in tampa, the players essentially get a mini bye week to get ready for Atlanta (who has to travel to Zona and get roughed around by that Cardinal defense).

Nasty stuff goes on in every game. Maybe things don't escalate as visibly as they did against the Rams, but it's not like stuff isn't said and opponents don't get into it every week.

I'd be shocked if the team is doing anything other than giving the Bucs all their attention. They already beat the Rams, so the Rams are history. They know what's at stake in the near future. With all they have to do to prepare for any given game, I don't think they'll be thinking too much about how Quinn was the biggest SOB they ever saw or anything like that.

I don't think there is any player or coach in the NFL that wants to play on Thursday night.

It's just a reality right now that each team has to deal with.

I do remember seeing a player quoted somewhere (maybe on the Huddle) about players' bodies not really feeling right until Friday or Saturday. Players are always hurt in some way later in the season, but that's especially true on Thursday. Players hate playing on Thursday, and I'm sure coaches hate getting less prep time for games. But if we're going to have to play on Thursday, give us a winless team.
