Ron has complete control of that locker room. It is amazing to see his presence and how he establishes himself as the unquestioned leader of the team. His tone and voice are what you expect of a leader of men. I would go to war with that man. I can see why the players love to play for him and defended him when a lot of us wanted his head. Keep it up Ron.

Barring an implosion, hes not going anywhere. Even at 8-8 he stays and frankly deserves to stay to finish building what he started here. He has shown enough that he has turned the corner. Get this team upgrades in the O line and true beast of a WR and you have a dynasty. Ron isnt going anywhere.

Off-topic, but ESPN just played that old "This is SportsCenter" Cam commercial... first time I've seen that thing in forever.  4-game win streak and seems like they're actively in reputation-repair mode after that lynch mob poo last year.

But yeah I don't think Ron is going anywhere after this year regardless what happens this season (barring a complete meltdown).  The players respect and actively defend him, he has control over the team, he's steadily improved, put together a dominant defense, and the offense is efficient.  He's made mistakes, but it's his 3rd year as a coach and he's trending up... a lot of our losses have just boiled down to pure ridiculously shitty luck.

It would  be so awesome for Rivera's team to win against Harbaugh and Bellinchek.

I honestly did not think he had it in him.  I think he's a really nice guy, a really honest guy and great DC.

I really did not think he could beat those two championship teams.

It sure would be nice to matter in the NFL again.

There is no team, absolutely no team I hate as much as the Patriots, ever since T. Brady and that Superbowl and his little first down celebration.

Old hurt dies hard...and I want the Patriots to die hard on that MNF game, at home...big time hard.  The have the worst fans, next to the Redskins.  No question.

I laughed a little at Ron repeating "we got a lotta things to focus in on" like 4x

If you listen to each one of the player interviews you will catch on to his mantra. The next game is the most important of the year. The 5 P's prior planning prevents poor performance. And we have to you know foot our best body part forward(cam-ism)

I stuck with Rivera until that Arizona game.  That was the first time I thought we might have to move on.  Then game by game we started to roll, he was going for on 4th and short.  He was aggressive.   Cam started playing within himself.  We finally turned the corner.

I'm very happy that Jerry gave Riverboat the time to learn how to be a good coach.  Today's world is usually win today or you're gone.  There's no time to grow.  Jerry gave Ron that chance when most franchises would not.

I really like that Ron admits his mistakes and is always talking about learning to be a better coach.  A man who can admit his mistakes and learn from them will go very far.

He's a defensive mastermind.
